As a muslim we are told that we should be extremely hopeful and scared.
The is a saying by Omar Bin Khattab, a companion of Prophet Mohammed.
If on the day of judgement, its announced that only one person would go to hell and rest all are going to heaven, I would be scared that may be I am that person who is going to hell. And if its announced that only one person would go to heaven and rest all to hell I would be hopeful that I would enter in heaven

Although religious people may have strong faith in their beliefs, there is little scientific evidence as to what happens after we die.
Plato has a fairly compelling argument suggesting that souls never die. Quantum mechanics suggests that information is never lost, so all your memories etc should last forever in some form or other.
Recent research in cosmology suggests that our whole universe is a living creature with godlike intelligence, Also the description of our universe and the multiverse it lives in is far stranger than our everyday ideas of time and space
Such models allow for the existence of places outside of human time-space continuum. Such places would fit with biblical descriptions of heaven.
If we do assume that God does try to communicate with humans through religious revelation, we might suppose that God has tried to give messages through various religious teachings. Many religions have common themes suggesting an afterlife and a loving God, but these similarities could be explained by historical similarities or common needs for simple answers for questions we can't answer.

When you die today you will not go to heaven immediately as you wish when you are still leaving, yet nobody of us know whether we will go to hell or heaven. It is only God who can tell us at the time of judgement.

Yeah I am alway`s amazed at this ego attitude of the Saved who proclaim this` Whoopee! I am going to Heaven now`but the reality is that no-one is entitled to enter Heaven because in the end it is all down to the mercy of God.
There are three great surprises in store for the believer apparently, the first surprise is that all those whom you thought would be in Heaven aren`t,the second is that all those you thought would never be there are! and the great surprise of all is that you are there yourself.

I can't explain it to you, I just know that I know that should I die right now, I will be with Jesus in heaven.
It is just an assurance that you have in your heart for I am not scared to die at all, as a matter of fact I am looking forward to see my Savior and my mother and all the people that I know that has died knowing Jesus as Lord.
Take Care

I'm not sure I'll be going anywhere but there's not much I can do about it. We all must eventually die. BUT, while I'm alive, I live my life, the best and moral way I can...it's the journey I want to enjoy!

99% sure I won't because a)I don't believe in Heaven and b)If I'm wrong, I'm certainly not going there. The other 1% goes to the possibility that religious folk are all wrong, and a god and/or heaven exists, just not the one they created (i.e. I might get in anyways).

I'm not sure at all. All I can do is hope. But I know that I am a good person, not religious, but good. That is enough to make me not go to hell.

I can't be sure. No one cans. But I know this. If I was to die in a next second all I have to say is: Forgive me LORD all of my transgressions. I'm sorry that my life wasn't the best testimony to You. I Your hands I place my life.
We ought to die to ourself everyday of our lifs in order to live as God wants us to live. Unfortunately, no one can do that. Thanks to Jesus Christ we have grace that saves us. And never forget Romans 6:1-2
1What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?

How could anyone be sure? We are all at the mercy of God. This is what I believe anyways...
If Christian logic were true, well then technically Satan would be heaven bound since he too meets the the heavenly requirement of "believing in Jesus"

well let's put it this way - if you don't believe in that kind of stuff, then there is no chance of going to hell!!!...I mean think about it, heaven/hell (if they existed) would have to be about 7 times the size of the earth to accomodate for everyone who'd died
