I can't help but wonder if there are other couples out there in my similar situation who could be so kind as to offer me advice on how to find employment. How are other senior citizens handling not finding jobs? I lost my job last December because of my age and made too much money. The employers of today do not seem to be senior friendly. Should my resume be written differently? Should I look out of state, if yes, How do I do this? Do other seniors have alternatives that maybe I am overlooking?

About 3% of the world is consider themselves Atheists and 13% fall into some other form of nonreligiousness, which includes some versions of nonpracticing Theists. In America and throughout the world, Christians represent the clear majority of religious people, and most people in the U.S. and beyond consider religion to be a "very important" part of life. On here, it seems that Atheists are the majority. My question is, why are Atheists so evangelical?

In Bhagavad Gita, Krishna is called "Janardana". Swami Prabhupada translates this as "friend of all". Ernest Wood, also very credible, tanslates it as "liberator of men". Can you tell me what Janardana means literally, and a little bit about why it means what it does?

My mom is a catholic. She was married twice before she married my dad.
None of her marriages were in a church and performed by a priest. She was married by a justice of the piece . She divorced her first two husbands and my dad died.
So she started going to church and she is taking communion. Is that right?
I just want to make sure she gets to heaven.
lol.

I have a paper due that has to study a subculture of our choice. Being baptized a Lutheran, but growing up in a non-religious home, I am interested in exploring the Lutheran faith.

I've hit a kind of block, and was just wondering what kind of questions you think I should ask to get a good introduction and understanding of the Lutheran faith (or any faith in particular).

Thanks!

I had to let her know that her very name (Lady Saphira), was that of an evil Vampire of German Legend, and that she had been promoting evil all these months.

Was this wrong to point it out to her as she is so adverse to anything evil, like halloween, wicca and other scary things like spiders.

She is now known as Angel Horse

Last week I walked into my daughter's room thinking she wasn't home and I caught her having sex with her best friend. Obviously her friend is also a girl or I wouldn't be here. They are both 16. If she's gay then that's ok with me; I love her no matter what.

If she were having sex with a guy at her age, I wouldn't allow it. I also feel like a hypocrite because I was fooling around with guys at her age. I'm realistic that if these two are emotionally involved that they'll find a way to be together if I forbid it.

They've been friends for years now and there's no way I could break up their friendship even if I wanted to. I'm not sure I do want them apart though, it's normal for her to date at this age and she'd hate me if I denied her that. I just can't give her the impression that I approve of her having sex with anyone at her age but I don't want her to think there's anything wrong with being gay.

I don't think babies are cute. In fact I think they are ugly. I don't think they start to be tolerable to look at until they grow hair and teeth and are able to walk. I think three year olds are cute. I think puppies are a lot cuter than babies. Why is this, is this normal?
