If evolution has happened exactly the way all the evolutionists are saying, then why didn't mankind evolve with more fur and not less? If early man ran around, basically naked while outside stalking prey and all that... with no clothes and no shoes on, they would be hurting themselves all the time and probably would succumb to hypothermia in a world like this... especially in those regions of the world with cooler temperatures during both day and night and summer and winter. No one would survive with no warmth, no fire (having not discovered it yet) and only something like a cave for shelter... how would early man come to the evolutionary milestone to begin using tools to use animal hides for covering without dying of exposure?

OK, In December I lost my grandmother (I was pretty much raised by my grandparents.) Then my parents had my dog of 15 years put down in January. Also during that month somone I had known for years at church died. Later that month, I found my grandfather after he passed.

Then, I started to think a lot about the my religous beliefs. I really hoped that what I believed was right because I had people and that was what they believed. But I wasn't sure. I had been sure up to that point.

I was never mad at God but wanted the Bible to be true. And felt very confused about it.

I asked for pastors because you guys do a lot of greif counceling. Is it normal to feel this way in times like this? Is this just something that will pass with time?

Dealing with death is new to me.

When the Muslims were 'savage, barbarious & bloody sword' & how difficult that sword made life for the Christians. First in 634. Then the Muslim conquest of Jerusalem in 638. This is the beginning of Muslim aggression, and Christians in the Holy Land faced un escalating spiral of persecution. And also, many early Churches were replaced by Mosques. (You can find remains today of some of the early Churches in recent archeological finds.)

Reading the book, 'The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (& the crusades)' by Robert Spencer.

does it make them any bigger of a person, by doing that? If they really wanted to point out someone's fault, can't they do so in a respectful manner?

Okay I'm used to people not respecting the views of teenagers, I know it happened to you all at some point in your life.

almost a year ago I stopped being a Christian. its a decision I came to myself, by making my own decisions, not listening to anyone else. the only reason I ever was a Christian in the first place was because I did listen to everyone else.

I don't know if you older atheists ever hear that, but I hear quite often especially from my family that it's a phase or a fad. They can't accept that I simply don't believe in God.

I'm 15 years old, and whenever I mention that people jump to conclusions.

What do you think?

Why do some whites feel like they have to go out of their way to prove they are not racists?

Is being a racist the default position for white people, and only a select few of them somehow become educated enough to do away with their racist ideas and beliefs?

(Disclaimer: This question is not directed at any entire group of people. Readers should not assume that the questioner is looping all people of a certain group into any particular stereotype. Any confusion on this matter should be directed to the question in the form of a question before jumping to conclusions.)

I think I will have to use this disclaimer from now on because too many of you are hypersensitive and try to find ways to accuse people of making swooping generalizations when they are not.

It is so ignorant and naiive to pre-judge someone from their place of residence. I understand the South has its "culture" but this type of attitude is what makes people from elsewhere think southerners are stupid and foolish.

If Prometheus made a deal with Zeus, that all the baby girls would have their eye lids cut off, would that also have to be legal to accommodate the followers of Zeus?

My mistress is toying with the idea of sending me to sissy maid training. Is there any place in the states or does anyone know of a person who specializes in making proper maids? I am familiar of places in the UK. And if anyone has been to one would they reccomend it?

Can anyone tell me the best Christmas web sites with animation and flash, like the one with the singing reindeer and Santa Clause, where you click on each reindeer and it dances or makes a sound. I like the more safisticated cartoons. also the one about the southerners "Dreaming of a White Christmas"

What are your reasons for rejecting evolution? And I'm not talking about the whole "because it doesn't make sense" thing...I mean, what things about evolution go against your religious beliefs?

I did 4-H for a very short time. I had no lambs or horses so it wasn't that much fun. I made an apron though!

I was a browine and proud to wear my uniform to school on meeting days. My mom was an assistant leader. When I got into junior high, the entire Girl Scout troop refused to wear the uniform to school. Eventually, the scouts disolved for me.

I was a Cub Scout leader for two years for my son. They wore their uniforms to school. I never see Scouts anymore unless they are selling cookies. Where did the pride go?

that visit this forum, tells us that things that we are reminiscing about are still around and hasn't been that long? I get a chuckle out of it because we are talking about things that happen in our teens (1940s-1960s), and now it is back and fashionable for them.

Some study said that many more people are born "intersex" or neither boy nor girl, than we thought before. There were also findings about gay men's brains being unique. Does this change religious peoples' feelings about homosexuality?
