I'm 27; I was an atheist before I was 18, though.
I suspect that since most atheists in the US were brought up at least nominally Christian, that atheists who are willing to admit it publicly will tend to be older.

I'm 25. It's a shame I wish that I could re-live my childhood instead of having two jobs and going full-time at college.
Don't waste what time you have as a young one, just don't.
