good question!
I do believe that their reasons go along with the Scripture that speaks of people ,"having their ears 'tickled' " (2 Timothy 4:3)people often only hear what they want to hear.
2Timothy chapter 4 also talks about people that ,"do not put up with healthful teaching" , they,"turn their ears away from the truth", "they will be turned aside to false stories" do you think that applies in the situation in question?
we all must make sure of what we follow is the direction our Heavenly father wants us to go. the only way to be sure of that is through bible study and prayer.
John 13:35 reads, " By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love among yourselves."
personally, I see love for fellow man in action anytime I visit a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. anywhere. Not only there, but also when they are involved in the door -to door work. This ministry is done because of the directions Jesus gave before He ascended to His Father in heaven. He said, "go and teach them to observe all the things I have commanded you." Matthew 28:19,20
please tell me what other group of individuals excert themselves without charge, in any kind of weather, no matter how they might be feeling themselves, all for the sake of sharing the good news that is in God's word and doing what Jesus commanded???
p.s. they don't take people's money either. no plate is passed. you volunteerly contribute to the kingdom preaching work if you can.

He never claimed to be a healer. God heals the people, not Benny Hinn. I've seen him interviewed many times. He always explains it the same way. What he does is creates an atomosphere of worship where people's faith is increased and the power of God's presences is experienced. The bible says that our faith can make us whole. If you notice, he never brings people up to heal them, when they come up on the stage, they've received healing in the audience. He brings them up to tell their testimony.
People only doubt him because they aren't used to seeing such powerful signs and wonders. I know someone who was healed at one of his services, and she's truly healed.
I don't know him personally, but I do know that he is truly a worshipper.Benny Hinn is a real worshipper.

The same reason people fall for any false teacher. They refuse to judge by the Biblical standards, and believe they can judge things from their own perspectives.
And because of this, people like Benny boy profit as a false prophet.

TBN is fiction entertainment.
Benny HAS claimed to be a prophet, so some of us need to do some research.

Why do people follow false prophets like Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Hitler, Jimmy Carter, Bin Laden, Muhammed, and Castro?
These people are such a joke. ABC, CBS, NBC, and PBS are total crap. They are just about the money; especially atheistic, secular humanists, deviat money.

It's easy to write a check and feel good about yourself and about God. No struggle, not much hassle, and like the lottery, you're promised fantastic results if you're the lucky one.
You might pray for Brother Benny and those who have been sadly misled. Of all who are stuck in this pit, probably Brother Benny is stuck the worst and is in the greatest risk of condemnation, since he is a teacher and has led others astray.
Grace and peace!

Benny Hinn happens to be an amazing man of God and excellent "EVANGELIST". i've never heard of him being a prophet and you do yourself a disservice when you speak against God's chosen. TBN is an excellent tool of ministry and love them. Go Paul and Jan!!!!!!

There is a thin line between what is the truth and what is satan. Some people can't discern between the two. Which leads to another question.

Because he gives them hope,of being healed. It is a false hope, but nonetheless hope.
Yes, we know that he can't heal anyone, but until he gets caught at breaking the law what can we do?

2Ti 4:3 For a time will be when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own lusts, they will heap up to themselves teachers tickling the ear;
2Ti 4:4 and they will turn away the ear from the truth and will be turned aside to myths.
