This is what I wrote back. Thought it would be helpful to my brethren.
"We believe in the one true God. Because of the fall of man, man fell into a state of sin. God cannot look upon sin, therefore He could not look upon us.
Mankind is not able to reach God. God then devised a plan to provide a bridge between Him and man.

God, by His own spirit, inpregnated a young virgin so that He could become both man and God. He did this so that He could speak to us and so that He could provide the ultimate sacrifice.
That man-God was/is called Jesus.

God said 'whosoever believes on Him, shall not perish but have everlasting life'

Now, through Jesus, we can again connect with God. Jesus is the doorway to heaven, our translator.

Finding Him is simple. You just ask Him. You tell him you realize you are a sinner. You ask His forgiveness. You ask Him to come into your life and take over. Then you find a Bible and you read it.

If you cannot get a Holy Bible, I will send one.

Lately, I have been letting certain people and certain questions get my temper boiling, and I have given some very un-Christian responses. That is a violation of my Catholic/Christian faith. I ask that anyone I have offended recently please forgive me
From now on I am only going to respond to thoughtful questions. My answer will be a reasonable answer from a Catholic perspective. I hope my answers will help whoever is truly interested in them.
If someone has a real question about Catholicism, let me say in advance of you question that you should first try going to Catholic Answers at http://www.catholic.com/
If you look at the left sidebar, you'll see many subjects. You can click on one and see tracts that may answer your questions. Also, the search engine searches 20 years worth of articles from "This Rock" magazine, which has a lot of great articles about the faith. Also, the "official" Catechism is online at http://www.usccb.org/catechism/text/entiretoc1.htm

God bless everyone

NO!

Luke 11:9 says, "So I say to you ask, and it will be given to you;(ASK WHAT?), Seek, and you will find (FIND WHAT?) knock, and it will be opened to you (WHAT WILL BE OPENED?) For everyone who ask receives (RECEIVES WHAT?), and who seeks finds (FIND WHAT?), and to him who knocks it willed be opened (OPENED?) .....................vs. "If you then, being evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father GIVE GIVE the HOLY SPIRIT to those who ASK Him!" The Indwelling of God's Spirit.

This why it is so......important to ask, seek, & find God's Holy Spirit and sadly so....many people who say they are Christians are just like Nicademus who was a devout religious man (good people), did not even know what it meant to be Born-Again. I

If it just takes simple belief in God, why would Jesus tell someone that He never knew them if all they had to do is just believe? Why, because they have not been Born-Again.

You must be Born-Again!!

I am just too funny...I am very sorry to all my fellow believers of truth and rational thinking, I am not in any way related to any type of Church and only was trying to make a point to the Christians that the Bible can be used for Evil purposes. I am very happy of how apalled you all were and hope a Christian or 2 decided to go down the path of rational thinking...

About Deuteronomy 13:6-10:
Jesus came to fulfill the prophecy so we would not have to follow these laws anymore...What about the 10 commandments? and many other laws of the OT if they are no longer Valid then why study them and have them in the same book?

The meaning of the word "baptize." It comes from a Greek word which means “to submerge in water." Therefore, baptism by sprinkling or by pouring is an oxymoron, something that self-contradictory. Baptism by sprinkling would mean "submerging someone in water by sprinkling water on them." Baptism, by its inherent definition, must be an act of immersion in water.

Baptism illustrates a believer’s identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. “Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life” (Romans 6:3-4 NIV). The action of being immersed in the water pictures being buried with Christ. The action of coming out of the water pictures Christ’s resurrection. As a result, baptism by immersion is the only method of baptism which illustrates being buried

undeniably there has been a problem with catholic priests molesting children in this world. (and yes i'm aware that most people who molest children are not catholic priests, but this is the issue i'm currently adressing)

do you think that these priests chose this line of work because they had intentions of committing these acts and aren't really men of god, or that their faith's strict rules about sex ultimately drove them to commit those acts due to man's sinful nature and sexual desire mixed with opportunity?

or do you think it's something else entirely? and what do you think can be done about this problem?

It's a simple question, asking for our favorite songs. Because music moves us in many ways, it's a spiritual thing. This question is worthy of this category, and deserves more than one answer.

Please, it's the first question this person has asked. Show him that R&S brotherhood, and answer his question. Thanks.
