Believe it or not I wanted to be a duck. Never made it.

I wanted to be a Iowa State University cheerleader. But the problem with that is I weren't get paid doing it I would be paying the university to let me do it.
Secondly I couldnt' do it b/c cheerleaders are surrposed to be pretty and I ended up from being a cute kid to being a hidous looking ugly person.
So I'm the ugly duckling in reverse.

When I was little, I wanted to be a veterinarian, and later I wanted to be a psychologist, specializing in sleep studies.
Instead, I've been an Admin Assistant for over 20 years. What a disappointment.

a nurse - didn't get on with my headmistress and so she put a spoke in the wheel so brought up two kids and fostered two (worked for a while as a veterinary nurse before that but most of the times when not too ill worked in offices)funny old life?

When I was 17, I used to flick through the FT and think, "Wouldn't it be cool to run one of those unit-trust thingys, and have millions of pounds of other people's money to invest?". Now that is what I do .... and I wish I had become a porn star, astronaut or dolphin trainer.

I wanted to be a lawyer.
I'm doing something entirely different and I'm not happy doing it. But I did explore going to law school and I'm not so sure I'd be happy doing that either.
So I'm going to grad school next fall to do something I'll truly love.

I wanted to join the army. was always a tomboy (still am, even at 27).
Didn't happen, now work in construction.

A riding instructor. I did qualify but then had a very bad unrelated accident which has left me unemployable.
