Why is it so hard to believe that Jesus is God? Can anyone say Jesus is Lord except through the Holy Spirit?

This why it is so......important to ask, seek, & find God's Holy Spirit and sadly so....many people who say they are Christians are just like Nicademus who was a devout religious man (good people), did not even know what it meant to be Born-Again. I

If it just takes simple belief in God, why would Jesus tell someone that He never knew them if all they had to do is just believe? Why, because they have not been Born-Again.

Hello, I am a Christian and I have a difficult time figuring out the deity of Jesus. I believe he lived, performed miracles, spoke with authority, was crucified, and was raised from the dead. Jesus, as John says, is the Word and was with God from the beginning. Therefore, Jesus is given a position equal to God.

But, I don't believe that the God of the universe ceased to exist during the moment Jesus died. Somehow, God abandoned the man Jesus, and Jesus was left alone to deal with the consequences of human kind's sin. Somehow, there was a separateness which distinguishes Jesus from the Almighty God from himself. But, what I do believe is that Jesus is the Messiah, and God's plan was Jesus.
