the second anyone does the same against them, the cries of injustice come winging out? Anyone?
I'm referring mainly to the bullsh!t attitude that people who are bi are more likely to be unfaithful, are 'confused', can't make up their minds, are selfish, etc. Society has FINALLY gotten over the attitude that gay people are promiscuous drug-using freaks (well, the right-wing religious nuts still think gay people are like that, but who really cares what they think?), so why is there this bias against biosexuals in the gay community? Personally, I think it's jealousy and sour grapes. Some of us are attracted to PEOPLE, not a penis or vagina.
So why the fear and mistrust?

Do you live underneath another apartment and if so do you hear them a lot walking and slamming doors? I've always lived on the top floor of buildings and recently moved to 2nd floor and it seems like I can hear the people upstairs doing eveything. Is this normal or should I complain to mgnt? They are not horrifyingly loud but annoying.

From the majority of atheists, I understand that atheism is not a religion. BUT, when I was talking with an atheist on Yahoo!Answers, they told me that they were a "Level 4 Atheist." "Level 4"? Levels sound kinda like a cult thing...cults are religions.

Webster's definition of "religion" - a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with a passion and/or faith.

Don't atheists believe that Christianity and other religions are false? Isn't that a "belief held to with a passion"?

So what's your opinion? Is atheism a religious belief, or not?

I don't think itis merely having plenty of everything, or being super-rich. I think it is those kinds of things, and having lots to share, or having riches and being able to use them fully and wisely. I also think that abundance is having, and being in the best-possible circumstances for yourself at a certain time.

But what do YOU think?

Some atheists have really made me research this and I am actually grateful for the challenge.
I know it sounds nice to say that but I have found that God does NOT love everyone equally. He loves everyone but His “Agape” love is reserved for His Children. Agape Love is the kind of love that forgives forever under any circumstances God’s other love Does have conditions.
That makes sense when you consider that God does not allow His Children to go to Hell for any reason. God does however “offer” His Agape love to everyone but if a person does not accept it then that person has to make do with the love that carries conditions. What are your thoughts on this matter?

It doesn't matter if it's the dad or the mom. If one stays home and does everything related to bringing up the babes, running the house, etc., what value would you put on that service on an annual basis?

his death on the cross opening up the path to heaven, how did people get to heaven prior to Jesus' existence on earth?

Was it by looking forward in time to his arrival? If so, would other religions that have the concept of a sacrificed child of God provide an avenue to heaven? What about Jews who did believe the son of God was coming, but weren't convinced it was Jesus - wouldn't this give an unfair advantage to Jews living prior to Christ?

Was it based on a different criteria? If so, could that criteria change again?

This is a sincere question. Thanks, and please no mean-spirited dialogue. I haven't had coffee yet today.

Who else found the film "Dogma" to be very close to their beliefs???
I loved that movie, it was hilarious, and I know it wasn't intended to effect anyone spirituality. But the whole time I have watched that movie, I was just amazed. Almost everything that was said in the film had to do with what I thought.

That NO religion has nailed it perfectly yet.
God is neither man nor woman. So you could say father, or mother if you wish.
Jesus was not white! Due to where he is from, he would have either been black, or extremly dark skinned.
Jesus was not a only child! He had brothers and sisters! There is tons of proof.
To believe that Mary was always a vrigin, her whole life, is stupid. "To believe that a married couple never got down with it, is just plain hypocrasy"

Call me stupid. But I like to throw logic in with faith.

Anyone agree/disagree???

Do you understand that atheists do not want to prevent you from having your religious ideas and faiths, but do not want them to manifest themselves in the public sphere?

maybe this quote will help: "we should respect a man's religious believes in the same way we respect his theory that his wife is beautiful and his children smart""
