I don't have the Book and verse written down, but it does say: When you belong to Him, "NO man can pluck you out of His hand."
Don't be worried about it, just be grateful that you belong to Him! Your name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life - in permanent pen!
And no, it isn't a philosophy of thinking that because we are saved, we can live a life of sin and not be held accountable. That isn't the point at ALL.
The point is that the moment we are saved, we are new creatures in Christ and we DO live a different live because of our salvation. I have been saved since I was 16. I never lost my salvation, though I did backslide for awhile. But because I belonged to Jesus, He brought me back into the fold.
That happens with a LOT of people, but they don't lose their salvation because they backslide. Sorry, that is not scriptural.
God bless!

Well you are correct in that the phrase "once saved always saved" is not in the Bible. However there are many scripture that tell us that our salvation is secure and cannot be taken or lost. Here are a few . Maybe you will see what I mean..
Romans 8:37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persueded that neithr death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.1 John 2:19
Philippians 1:6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you, will complete it untill the day of Jesus Christ.
Christians are sealed with The Holy Spirit and nothing can separate them from the love of God. There is no such thing as an x Christian.

It can't be found In ANY Bible ! God says that He will never leave us nor fosake us,Never. We're the ones that walk away, not God. If you Backslide(turn away from God) then the Bible says to do your first works over as you've lost your first love.(Jesus) Revelation 2:4..
Infact In Revelation It says that your name can be erased or blotted out of the Book of Life.Revelation3:4-6
To believe once saved always saved Is a LIE from the father of ALL lies satan, don't be deceived.

1 Corinthians 12:13 we are told that at the moment of salvation the Holy Spirit places us in the body of Christ. Once we are infused into the body of Christ, we are never excised from the body. In fact, Ephesians 1:12 and 4:30 indicate that at the moment of believing in Jesus Christ for salvation, we are permanently "sealed" by the Holy Spirit. At that point, we are God's everlasting property. That seal guarantees that we'll make it to heaven.
Moreover, we read in John 10:28-30 that it is the Father's purpose to keep us secure despite anything that might happen once we have trusted in Christ. Nothing can snatch us out of His hands. God's plans cannot be thwarted (Isaiah 14:24). Further, Romans 8:29-30 portrays an unbroken chain that spans from the predestination of believers to their glorification in heaven.

I agree. That's a big misconception and one that I have studied extensively (and had somewhat heated debates with people over). But in the end, there are some verses that people will use to support the argument but it doesn't seem to jive with the many verses that talk about a salvation that comes in the end, not in the beginning. Be blessed!

It doesn't. The Bible states just the opposite.
Galatians 5:4 “You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.”
1 Corinthians 10:12 “Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.”
2 Peter 1:10 “Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall.”
In fact, the Prodigal Son is a perfect example of a son who left the Father and was dead and lost in sinful rebellion (Lk. 15:24). The younger son chooses to leave the safety of his father’s house to lead a life of sin and waste. To return to the father, the son must make a decision to repent and turn back to his father. While the son is leading an ungodly life, he is considered lost by his father. The application for us is that once we are Christians we can choose to leave the security of the house of God and be lost to our heavenly Father.

Hmm i don't think it does, they just say that because some of them tend to be not very good people (Like i heard from a friend about this church crowd who went to eat at a restaurant on a sunday, and the guy who worked as a waiter there was from their church too, and they completely went off at him for working on a sunday. And many (not all of course!) tend to be very judgemental and hateful towards others, i mean i had to sit at a dinner table with this Catholic who is my parent's friend and listen to her bashing gay people all night... can i mention that she is a billionaire and spends all her wealth on houses, cars, expensive jewlery etc. instead of say.. helping some charity :O Anyway you get the idea :P) So i think they say 'once saved always saved' because they don't want to face up to their own wrong doings, and choose to focus on others instead.

My understanding is that once a person has accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and their Savior, they belong to Him. They are His and He will never leave them. However, they can turn their back on Him.
This would mean that they are still a member of His body but, they have decided to deny Him. They will be judged when Jesus comes, by Jesus.
God will judge the people who have never come to Jesus. There will be those who never heard the word and those who are not mentally capable of understanding. Their salvation will still be because of Jesus' sacrifice however, they will be saved by God's grace.
Then there are those who completely deny God and Jesus and have no desire to be with Him. God will allow them to be eternally separated from Him in Hell.
Jesus did the Salvation.
God made Jesus our Justification
We have to allow the Sanctification.

It doesn't specifically. It is spoken in reference to the passages in which Jesus states that he is like a shepherd, and no one is able to take his flock/children away from him. I can't recall the exact verse.
I question this viewpoint as well, as it seems logical that one could turn from their faith. Otherwise, wouldn't this breed a complacency in one's faith and walk? You never lose your salvation? Then why bother doing anything good for others?
Faith is something that must be cultivated and maintained, and I do believe it can be lost.

That 'Philosophy' would allow people to do whatever they want and not be held accountable unto God.
Someone can walk away from God- Like I did once.
I came back!!
*************************************
Can Your name be blotted out of the Lambs Book???
************************************
I understand that God Never Leaves us Nor forsakes us.
*************************************
BUT if I would have died while sinning and acting all wicked -then what?? because I was promiscuous, drug addicted and cussed like a sailor. And fornication in Galations 5 is just one of my sins back then that would not inherit the kingdom of God. According to that Chapter.
