I see GOD as ONE who is Just and full of unconditional Love. GOD is basically our parent and HE does what HE sees fit. GOD gives unconditional Love and punishes like a strict parent.
I copied my answer from a previous question about suffering in this catigory...
I agree with "suffering is a perception".
You ask, "why is there suffering in the world?" ... that is a very large question.
Suffering as in A.I.D.S...... I believe that GOD created desease to punish those that are going against GOD's laws.
There are many innocent people that contract the desease, but if they do believe in 1 GOD, HE will take care of them for what they deserve.
I believe if there is someone that is suffering, there is always someone to do good deeds. Those people that do good deeds, and believe in 1 GOD, get rewarded by GOD.
If I found out that I have terminal cancer, I believe that GOD is needing me to leave this life. It is the greatest sin to take a life whether its our own or someone else's.
If I go without food for one day, Im possitive that GOD will take care of me as long as I do my part.
There are many things that happen in life that we dont like. Remember when we were little kids wanting something and our parents told us "no"? We couldnt understand why we were denied then.
We are GOD's children. We dont understand why we are denied of many things that we feel that is needed.
We can not ever fully understand GOD's work.
I trust in GOD, and things always work out for the best. Maybe not when I wanted it but GOD knows what is best.
I could go on, but I wont.

I am afraid your question is composed of "thin ice". GOD has no respect of person.
Therefore Agape; which is a definition of the word love, and thereby does not need the word love added to it. Agape is a word like Pizza or Fujiama. Pizza means "tomatoe pie" and Fujiama means mountain of Fuji, therefore to say pizza pie would be like saying tomatoe pie, pie or to say Mt. Fujiama would be like saying Mountain of Fuji mountain. (just a little FYI) Another word we often place in that catagory is "Abba" which is a word that is a little more endearing than to just say father. It has the conotation of being more like "daddy" and therefore does not have to be spoken of as "abba, father".
My point is; Agape is GODLY LOVE. and therefore we can all express agape in our relationship to mankind. The other types of love Phileo, "brotherly love" and Eros, Physical or sensual love are human manifestations.
Your question asked Does God indeed love everyone equally. The answer is emphatically, undoubtedly, unequivocally, YES. How do I know ?

A few small problems with this arguement. 1) people who are, culturally, his children (ie Jews, Christians, Muslums) can go to Hell. 2) God will forgive anyone who asks of it. My personal hope is that He will forgive anyone who asks it in another faith's name as well, so long as the repentence is true. This is, however, just a hope and nothing that I can prove or disprove. 3) If God loves all people equally, it does not follow that He shows that love in the same way. Look at mortal parents: they love their children equally, but because Sussi gets a bike and Dawn does not doesn't mean the love is unequal.

NO. God does love us all the same, and unconditionally with true agape love, that never changes. But, if we wont accept Gods love, we will be lost. GOd doesnt send ppl to hell, ppl send themselves there by refusing to love God and believe and serve HIm. GOd doesnt stand up there waiting to just kick us from heaven, He wants us all to be saved, and is patient and longsuffering. But He gave us free choice. When someone refuses to obey God and live for Jesus, they choose hell for themselves. God doesnt ever hate anyone, but He is still forced to end sin. What would He do, let them come to heaven with the rest of us, and have murder, rape, and all of that there that we have here. NO, because God lvoes us all so much, HE will protect us and be sure Heaven is just what He promised us, free of sin, sorrow and pain.
No more sickness, no disease, and no more tears.
So when a rebelling person will not live as a Christian should live and accept Jesus as their saviour, God has no choice but for send them to the hell they choice for themselves. We all have a huge Bible that tells us what to do to avoid hell. If ppl dont read it and wont do what God says, we cant blame God and we cant say He ever loved them less, because that would not be so. Agape loving is loving uncondionally, abslutely. But, when that love is not returned, God has to do something to protect His ppl.
Lets just pray that those who dont know God wil know HIm before its too late and accept Jesus into their heart. God commands we be like Jesus, its not just a suggestion.
LEts spread the good news, Jesus is coming soon.

The love energy received is the love energy earned. People get what they put into the source or God. You and everything else is a reflection of God looking into a spiritual mirror. Your thoughts and feelings are turned into energy. It is released and then returned.
This is the cycle and the balance of spiritual karma. Negative people receive less love and dwell in misery. Loving people receive more love. Although bad people hurt loving people. That doesn't mean that loving people cannot comprehend love.
Many dark souls cannot comprehend love because that love energy is gone. There is no love there. It is sucked out and replaced with hate, envy, jealousy, greed, power, and so on.
Therefore dark souls cannot believe in God. Because God is based off of love, spirituality, and feeling. Hate destroys that comprehension and makes it impossible for people to feel love. That is why there are so many Atheists today. Many people like to be in control of their lives and do not want the responsibility of their actions. So they can get away or justify their bad behavior.
God loves all of its creation. However, many souls have drifted away from that love energy and are now responsible for creating the opposite effect. That is why there is a battle of the souls amongst people in this planet. Good versus Evil.
So far evil is winning. But that doesn't mean that the concept of love will be destroyed. It just means there is less of it.
That is why the world sucks today. Be cool.
God Bless you.

True to say God loves Everyone but It differs from person to person - not because He is Partial, GOD is not a Respector of Persons. BUT He loves most His Children who do His Perfect Will.
Are you ready for the Coming of THe LORD?
Blessings to all!! Obey His commandments without any conditions and Surrender to do His Will!! God Love!

He loves people with bumper stickers more.
Kidding aside, I think it depends on what your spiritual persuasions are. To some it doesn't apply at all, but in theory why shouldn't they be loved by a benevolent being also? Isn't that part of what a benevolence means? Why assume that we know more than what a omniscient being would? It isn't logical in the terms of the specifics of the question.
It is part of my own belief system that says, yes, everyone is loved equally. I think it is dangerous to make blanket theological statements that apply to everyone, for example, saying if you love (blank), you are loved, but if you don't you are not, therefore I don't have to respect you because you are not loved by my spiritual being. It isn't fair. . . we all weren't raised with the same exact experiences. BUT, I am an academic liberal and was raised in a Reform Jewish community so that is just my opinion.

Yes, God loves everybody the same. His love is unconditional. But life is about choices. We can choose to follow Jesus or choose to reject Him and His gift of life. Those who reject (atheists for example) have decided their own fate. But God continues to hand out His grace until the end of time. Our free will is a gift also. God doesn't want us to be puppets. He wants us to believe in Him and come to him by our own free will.

I thought that all people were God's children. Are there some humans who are not? If so, how did they come to exist? And if they are all God's children and God plays favorites, then He's not a very good God, is He? This would be a very bad basis for a religion.

That doesn't meant that He does any special favors for us. The Bible says He makes it to rain and shine on both the righteous and the unrighteous and that He makes crops to grow on the lands of both. He gives everyone the same choice - accept His plan or don't.
