If you refer to an entertainment cruise with great food, dancing, and other on board entertainment, then no I haven't.
I did go on a yacht for an overnight cruise once tho, with
friends who owned it. It was really nice. It had an outer deck,
with alot of patio furniture, and an inside salon with luxury
padded furniture, and a lower galley and eating area, one
master stateroom, and a smaller stateroom with two bunks,
and sleeping area for kids under the bow with bunks there.
But that's the closest other than crossing from Victoria, BC
to Vancouver, BC on the Princess Elizabeth. It also held
cars underneath and was a fancy form of ferry.
I've always wanted to take a cruise to Mexico but it never
got to the planning stages.

I've never been on a cruise either due to the allergies. I have to watch where I go and be aware of my surroundings all the time. My sister has went on cruises and really likes them, they sound like a lot of fun.

For all you people who have never cruised I am leaving Tampa Oct. 4th on a 4 day to Mexico with a friend of mine I used to work with at a large Boston hospital. I haven't seen her in 30 years. I'll have a drink for all of you!

Never been on a cruise, and never want to be on one, either! Too many horror stories about people vanishing, falling overboard, getting murdered, women being raped, and don't even mention the exotic diseases!

I grew up in the desert, and boats do not interest me. I like to swim, but that is another matter.

I've been on several cruises. My first was from Norfolk, Virginia to Panama, Hawaii, the Philippines, Viet Nam and Thailand. Then from Sardinia to Tunisia, 2 times to France, 2 to Spain. My next was around the Middle East in the Persian Gulf, the Red Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Mediterranean (with stops in different Arabian countries, and 3 in Africa and Italy. Then my next one was from Norfolk, Virginia to Diego Garcia (try to find THAT atoll), in the Indian Ocean with stops in Spain, Greece, and Egypt. My last cruise in 1985 was from Norfolk to Spain, France, Italy and Israel.
Oh, that was because I was in the U.S. Navy.

I just completed my fifth cruise on Carnival and am now a gold card member....I do both fly-and-stay and cruises at vacation time. I find the modern day cruise ships to be wonderful [hardly feel them moving, until they're on they're way back and trying to make time]...never get sick...STILL haven't taken advantage of everything available on board...the food is tremendous...balcony cabins are wunnerful! and the ports allow me to 'check out' islands I have yet to fly and stay at.
