Aren't there more important things to do than sit in your comfy chair and wander YA?

According to the CIA, if the world ended today about 4,421,509,530 people would go straight to hell... yes, thats four and a half BILLION to be burned for all of eternity...

Shouldn't you be out there saving souls, and not wasting time here?

If tomorrow all the things were gone I’d worked for all my life,
And I had to start again with just my children and my wife.
I’d thank my lucky stars to be living here today,
‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom and they can’t take that away.

And I’m proud to be an American where as least I know I’m free.
And I won’t forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And I’d gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land God bless the U.S.A.

God Bless you guys.

I am a christian and all, but there is no way that everything in the bible is complete truth.

For example. The stories in the bible were told to other people, whom told them to other people, so someone could write it down. And then other people took what they wrote, "proofed" it and then it became the book we have.

If I told everyone what I wanted in a book chapter. I told one person. They tell another person, but possibly get one thing wrong. That person tells another and possibly gets another thing wrong. Then the person that "Proofs" it possibly doesn't like everything I said, so chooses to change a few things.

Anyone agree, their is no logical way that everything in the bible is 100% what really happened?

Also, do you allow any room for evolution by interpreting the Genesis timeline in a metaphoric sense instead of literally? That is, were a day represents a time period other that 24 hours such as in "...a day is as a thousand years..." or Daniel's weeks.

I just watched a show about a haunted house in Georgia. A family with one little girl moved in. She claimed there were friendly ghosts and this mean character. Then, a psychologist is called in-he does some research and explains the house is built on ground that experiences seismic activity and the girl is sensitive to it. Years later,, there's another little girl child, she says the same thing-has a little girl ghost friend but there's also a 'bad guy'. The parents call the psychologist again, he refers a psychic girl he knows. She comes in, says there are several ghosts, most are good but one is evil. The mother is determined that there are demonic sprits (as in plural) in her house so she calls a Protestant psychic (he says he's Protestant, anyway) He says the same thing-There are several, most are good, one is bad. She still insists that her home is posessed by demonic spirits and has her pastor do some cleansing thing Oral Roberts and the like did/do to audience members.

I'm Christian, and i try my best to be kind and respectful to everyone, because I don't know what's it like for that person, how they feel, what they went through in their life, i cannot be in their shoes, therefore i cannot judge them, only God can, because he knows all about each and every one of us.

But all these people who come here and criticise and disrespect dovorcees, gay/bisexual people, bash other people's beliefs just make me cringe. Their souls are truly disgusting to me, and if i ever met them in real life i wouldn't want to touch them with a 5ft poll :P As a Christian how do you deal with people like that in a kind manner? Because i find it hard to bring myself to loving someone (like Jesus taught) who has so much hatred and prejudice in their heart.

Or did he merely want to reform JUDAISM? Hmmm, my reading indicates the latter.
That would mean churches and their associated priests have been lying, superstitious and ignorant scoundrels for hundreds of years. You call that moral and honorable?
