Or are there things that need to be exposed for those considering joining this group?

2007-09-27 05:44:15 · update #2

JR...I do not lie, and the only thing you exposed is your blind devotion to the Witness theology.....I do not need to lie..the truth is bad enough....we can dis agree, but to call me a liar exposes truth about you.

2007-09-27 05:47:44 · update #3

JR...just because i get bored with you and don't answer your debated, do not conclude that I can not answer, i just choose not to because you are not at the time, worth my energies.

JR...go play somewhere else.

2007-09-27 06:11:34 · update #5

JR..I quit reading what you post weeks ago.....Too long ...too arrogant..I don't wish to bother with it...and you know what ...I don't have to.

Ishvarlan..the link you add is just a side of my personality that is just a little edgy,,,,I was goofing off..Obviously...If you had any sense of humor, that would not have gone over your head.....do not worry yourself about my rage....When You are as abused as I was and then kicked out, as I was, it feels very freeing to be able to speak out...I have been holding my tongue for many years.

2007-09-28 02:41:32 · update #7

Ishvarlain...Didn't I block you from answering my questions after you resorted to calling me names? How is it then that you are able to answer this question? How many accounts do you have?

I think you have "righteous indignation". Is that the proper term? I think it is - I think you are disgusted with what goes on within the JW organization, and you feel you are providing a service by exposing them. People that are considering joining the jw's deserve to hear the whole truth - not just what the witnesses want them to hear.

Not always, at least not in and of themselves. However, I recall such answers as found here
http://malaysia.answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ahci3K_JTPhAgvIfFyAacOG5QAx.;_ylv=3?qid=20070925123105AATALJA&show=7#profile-info-8d109029177aafd9dea4001d66895191aa

In no way did an answer like that help the question. Whether the point was valid or not, it doesn't answer the question. I remember another one where you said about my beliefs being Nothing Biblical, which is now Not much that is Biblical. You gave no basic answer, even giving just 1 belief, then possibly critiquing it would've actually been helpful and answered his query.

Attitude has allot to do with things. Honestly, I feel you clearly are an angry person. If your claims are honest, you of course have a reason to be angry, however, it is easy to be blinded by such anger.

For a while your Q's and A's seemed intelectual and poinant, and in some cases, to the matter at hand. This, in my opinion, seems to be less and less the case.

I see alot of pain and anger in your answers and questions, however, I do not see hate and venom. I think, as your name suggests, that you have had to keep quiet for a long time about the damage done to you personally by the organisation.. JW's kid themselves that they are free, however we know the truth, that they are slaves to the WTBTS. as a free person you have every right to express your anger, and every right to expose the lies. If they can't hack it then they shouldn't be on here. Indeed, only this summer, at the conventions, were JW's warned about the use of the internet, because 'apostates'like you and I use it and we might ensnare them in Satans trap. It is hard for people who are on the outside, who only see the apparent good aspect of the religion to understand why ex Jw's feel so strongly about them. It is hard to understand how having your whole life manipulated feels, or how painful having those you love ignore you because you no longer believe, unless you have experienced it. Just don't let your anger become the reason you exist, because then they will have won by destroying all that is good in you.
Christian love.

Without a doubt, the JW's destroy families. That is on alot of
bumper stickers here in our city. I first saw them appearing
13 years ago, when I knew nothing about them. Now that our
son is an elder, I have educated myself, through an online
support group for ex members who are now exposed to the
real world, for the first time in their lives. And who now have
the freedom to be educated on what lies they've lived under
since childhood in many cases. I have read countless posts
from former members who's children are so against them for
being brought up in a JW home and found their own ways
away from the cult when they reached adulthood. For them
it was a waste of years in ignorance and naevite. For the
first time ever, they have opportunities open to them that they
never had before. Everything about their lives was more
mandated and orchestrated, for fear that if they didn't conform
they'ed be out of the org. in no time.
When I see Awake pamphlets, into the garbage they go.
The sad and lonely often pick them up to read. And the JW's
certainly know how to befriend and prey on non members.
The org needs to be exposed for what they truly are and
not just a pedophiling community but a wrecker of lost souls.

hi-as for the question that you listed-no there is no hate being shown there-but your question has the key word questions-plural-i went to your profile to see what other questions you asked doing my best to not pass judgement on just one question and found that your other questions were blocked off-as were your answers-seems to me you are asking a question that cannot be answered do to lack of information-as for any abuse you suffered when younger i am truly sorry that anyone should have to go through something like that and can only hope that the person or persons who would do that get to suffer like-pal

I exposed your misinformation and lies, but you never comment on what I present to you.. Just shows how you really are.

--==unsilenced lamb==--

If you take a lie and spread it, then its the same thing as telling a lie. I showed you your misquotes misinformation, but you always run off and never comment... Before you spread the truth about someone, get the accurate information first.

--==unsilenced lamb: Quote on Child Abuse==--
Do You deny there WAS a 2 witness policy...Which kept the people molesting protected?
Do you believe the Priests abused children but deny the Witnesses do it...Look at the TRUST in the Organization...it is a place where a child molester could hide out and not worry...

I can't believe that you think this is some kind of debate...Who cares about Being perfect in reading what you put...I was a Witness before you were born, and YOU do not know about how it was, because you were not there...speak on what you know, but as for how it was, stay silent, you know nothing!

EDIT..i looked at the JW rebuttle to silentlambs, and the 2 witness requirement still stands,,,you just don't need 2 witnesses to evry act of molestation now, it can be 2 children too...goodie, you guys have come a long way in making it diffocult to molest. Satan's organization.

--==End==--

As you can see, she tells the lie that only actions can take place only if theres two witnesses..

--==The Truth==--

A May 24, 2002 letter to all congregations clarifies this stating: "We have long instructed elders to report allegations of child abuse to the authorities where required by Law to do so, even where there is only one witness. (Romans 13:1) in any case, the elders know that if the victim wishes to make a report, it is his or her absolute right to do so.----Galatians

February 15, 2002 letter it is stated: "Never suggest to anyone that they should not report an allegation of child abuse to the police or other authorities. If you are asked, make it clear that whether to report the matter to the authorities or not is a personal decision for each individual to make and that there are no congregation sanctions for either decision. That is, no elder will criticize anyone who reports such an allegation to the authorities."

As well as a 1992 letter which states: "It is also a personal decision if the alleged victim chooses to report such accusations to the secular authorities." And in fact, the letter continues by saying: "all in the Christian congregation would want to consider their personal and moral responsibility to alert the appropriate authorities in cases where there has been committed or there exists a risk that there might be committed a serious criminal offence of this type..."

--==End==--

What is the truth when you just obviously told a lie?

--==unsilenced lamb==--

I ask you simple questions and you never answer them.. I also ask you to comment on the facts and but you dodge what is posted say you will not get into this..

If you have the truth, then you shouldn't be afraid to back up what you say.

Update: See what I mean?

I don't find your question filled with hate and venom. It is slanted due to your personal experience, but the question is not asked in an offensive or hateful manner.

Nope...keep standing your ground.

Ironic...if a person says they were once a member, then to the current members, they only think "oh...must have been disfellowshipped, because only a heretic would point out glaring errors in my theology".

Again...stand your ground.
