If tomorrow all the things were gone I’d worked for all my life,
And I had to start again with just my children and my wife.
I’d thank my lucky stars to be living here today,
‘Cause the flag still stands for freedom and they can’t take that away.
And I’m proud to be an American where as least I know I’m free.
And I won’t forget the men who died, who gave that right to me.
And I’d gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today.
‘Cause there ain’t no doubt I love this land God bless the U.S.A.
God Bless you guys.

How could some of you say you're not proud? We are the most priveleged country in the world. Freedom of speech? You guys obviously don't see how perverted our speech is becoming, sometimes I think too bad they can't legislate some words, because they are out there to hurt. Freedom of speech is going your way anyways if you haven't noticed, take a look at the media, it is so corrupt.
And how could some say God wouldn't bless us because we're in a war? How dare you! There are people out there fighting and dying for you! God won't bless them?

I just want to say 'ditto' to what you said, and what the other Proud Americans said before me.
I'm not only a Proud American, but a thankful American. Somehow, with a cosmic roll of the dice I ended being born and raised in America and I thank God for it. I truly wish that every country in the world and its people could have it as good as we do.

If the flag stands for freedom, then why are our freedoms being stripped away all the time? The flag may stand for freedom, but our government stands for money and convenience. With the atrocities this country has committed, I am not proud to be an American. I am embarrassed at how our government has performed. Even I however must admit there seems to be nowhere better. The whole world is crap.

God bless you!
I will never stop loving our country, Europeans can brag about long standing history and traditions, but thats all they have. We in America are the refuges from every country! We have struggled and died to make America the haven of freedom it is. America is and always will be the greatest country because of are morals and ethics and anyone who says different can just leave.
