I have been unable to fully participate on this forum because of illness, and I have had plenty of time to ponder why I still want to participate, because I do. I have been locked out of Yahoo mail many times that I felt like answering questions posted by my contacts, and perhaps a few more if they pique my interest. In my time as a participant, I have seen people of all belief systems rally up to defend a member who is insulted by others cruelly for simply stating their beliefs. I have also watched members openly sympathize with a regular who loses their account with no recourse, no ability to to contest with any hope of actually being heard. My question is are your beliefs dependant on insulting what others believe to justify yourself? Mine are not, and I am amazed to see the venom directed at Christians, Atheists, Pagans or any beief system represented here. Is there any value put on manners and mutual respect, or are many just content to post insults, and disrespect for others?
