A better illustration is water in it's three forms: liquid, ice, and gas. It exhibits different properties in each state but is still chemically water and thus reacts like water.

I'm not overly convinced that the trinity is truly a biblical concept, at least not as developed as the one held by the church today, as there is some evidence that the trinity was introduced in the middle ages.

There are merely too many scriptures on the end of Christs ministry, while he pleads with the father. His pleading with the father is what quite is mindless. If he's the father, then why plead with him? there may well be merely no logic to it. additionally all of us comprehend that God, is the father of Jesus, so once you suspect interior the trinity, you think that Jesus is his own father- he Fathered himself. i'm getting what you're asserting with regard to the Miracles, yet that's the place faith is attainable in somewhat. he's a God and he could make those issues take place. i think somewhat some the Christian international has been taught that God is complicated and incomprehensible and that we would desire to continuously now no longer attempt to renowned him- merely settle for Him as our carry close and do His will. That makes it stressful to seize the replace theory that in step with threat there is a few stable judgment to God and his life. it is the equivalent attitude that i think of interior the production over Evolution and huge Bang, thinking the form is an entire lot greater logical to me that the different 2 theories. Miracles are merely distinctive to me. The miracles were carried out to help people evaluate in God and in the Deity of Jesus. that they were carried out to be sure that he's the Son of God. there replaced into as quickly as a clarification for them. i assume the only technique to observe of for specific, is to ask the Lord. for people who ask in faith and open your mind to the solutions the Lord needs you to have, he will testify to you if the Trinity is right or now no longer. he will instruct you the terrific way.

God is ONE: One being, three persons. A human is one being and one person: A cat or dog is one being and NO persons: God is one being and THREE persons. We can not FULLY understand the Trinity, but the scripures are pretty plain that God IS Trinity:

Jesus tells his apostles to baptize "in the name [notice, singular, not plural] of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matt. 28:19). This is a proof-text: three distinct Persons united in the one divine name. In 2 Corinthians 13:14, Paul writes, "The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all." We see this same unity of divine Persons in 1 Corinthians 12:4–11, Ephesians 4:4–6, and 1 Peter 1:2–3.

The Bible clearly teaches that Jesus is God (cf. John 8:58, 10:38, 14:10; Col. 2:9). It also clearly teaches that the Holy Spirit is God (cf. Acts 5:3–4, 28:25–28; 1 Cor. 2:10–13). Everyone agrees the Father is God. Yet there is only one God (Mark 12:29, 1 Cor. 8:4–6, Jas. 2:19). How can we hold all four truths except to say all three are One God?

And yes, Jesus DID say he was God. In John 8:58, when quizzed about how he has special knowledge of Abraham, Jesus replies, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I Am"—invoking and applying to himself the personal name of God—"I Am" (Ex. 3:14). His audience understood exactly what he was claiming about himself. "So they took up stones to throw at him; but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple" (John 8:59).

Also significant are passages that apply the title "the First and the Last" to Jesus. This is one of the Old Testament titles of Yahweh: "Thus says Yahweh, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, Yahweh of armies: ‘I am the First and I am the Last; besides me there is no god’" (Is. 44:6; cf. 41:4, 48:12).

This can be hard for a person to ingest but here goes:
They are all three the Godhead - Father, Son, Holy Spirit - all Spirit of the Living God - but have different roles to play.

Father - Creator, God
Jesus - God incarnate or in the flesh
Holy Spirit - dwells within us at time of salvation

I hope this helps. Blessings dear one.

One more side note - God is Elohim - God in Three Persons. Also like the person said below - ice, water, steam - all water but different too. Blessings again.

The trinity is an explanation for the various names given in the Bible: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. But each has the same qualities and attributes. Each is described as omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent, eternal, Lord, God, Almighty, as being involved in creation, as the truth, as sanctifying and giving life, giving eternal life, raising the dead and inspiring the prophets. This leads to them being described ‘as being of one substance’ - one God.

The aspects of one things...like 3 facets on one jewell...3 masks a single actor may wear.

You can't say each facet is identicle (it has individuality) - but it is not separate.

As a zen saying goes about this kind of thing, "not the same, yet not different."

I like to think of it as mind body and soul. You need all three to function and exist. God is the mind, Jesus is the body and the Holy Spirit is the soul.

God = Father, Son, and Spirit. Three personalities, one God.
Apple = Skin, flesh, and core. Three parts, one apple.

It is the concept of God/Christ/Spirit all one, yet separate. It was added to Theology by the Vatican in the 4th Century AD.

No, I can't. But I think God, Jesus and the Holy ghost are 3 separate beings. It really doesn't make sense otherwise.
