Angels are created beings, created by God just as he created mankind. They were created before the creation of the world. Some believe that man was created in order to be a way to judge the angels that fell ... if man could believe in and follow God without seeing his glory, then the angels who saw God's glory and did not follow would be without excuse. Why else do you think Satan would try so hard to deceive man into sining?
The Holy Spirit is God's power itself (himself?). In English it seems disrespectful to call God "it", but there's really no other way... God isn't a "he" or a "she". Jesus said he would send the Holy Spirit to his disciples after he ascended into Heaven.
Note: On the sources, I gave you links to the direct scriptures in question, however, I urge you to expand upon that and read them in their context, so that you can see I did not take them out of context or proof-text.

The Holy Spirit and the Holy Ghost are the same thing. Varying by denomination is how the two are used. Angels are completely separate.

Holy Spirit. No they are not the same thing as angels, angels were and are created beings that do Gods will, that is, nothing in common with the Holy spirit, the Holy Spirit, guides through prayer, scripture and life, he is also a conforter during times of truble.

not the same. angels were created by God. the Holy Spirit is Gods spirit. God is three parts, a trinity, He is the Creator, He is Jesus and He is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the part of God that speaks to us and comforts us and guides us. You will find more clarity on this subject though prayer.

Spirit and Ghost used to be interchangable meaning the same thing. Only in more recent society have the meanings split. In the traditional sense (which the Church should be looking at in situations like these in my opinion) they mean the same thing, so it doesn't really matter which you say. This is one of those things that people can split about that don't really mean much at all.

you can call him an angel then all you want i don't think God would mind, i call him the holy spirit, because he is a "holy" spirit.. the holy ghost is just the way catholics say it
it's ironic how we call the holy spirit the holy ghost
and people call satan the "fallen angel"

The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit each have the same qualities and attributes. Each is described as omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent, eternal, Lord, God, Almighty, as being involved in creation, as the truth, as sanctifying and giving life, giving eternal life, raising the dead and inspiring the prophets. This leads to them being described ‘as being of one substance’ - being one God.
