I have to ask a question:
Is it anymore a miracle to be born "once" then it is to be born "twice?"

C4ndygirl, your interpretation of reincarnation is wrong. It's tainted with christianity or similar
After all, how can you live in eternity when you state God is eternal. Are you God? Whats beyond etenity? If you're in heaven, you're in a place, which means it exists, so what's the thing that doesnt exist? whats outside that box?

Girl Wonder, it requires a bit more thinking then simply scanning the words here.
If you are born once, then what before, what after? Eternity? Why no eternity to begin with? you want to enter this "eternal heaven" but then you slap a start date on it. Eternity has no start date, it just is, no end, no beginning. Birth, and only one birth, implies a beginning. Again, eternity = no beginning

Your question is a great quote (paraphrased I think from Voltaire). One of my favorite quotes on the subject is from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe: "As long as you are not aware of the continual law of Die and Be Again, you are merely a vague guest on a dark Earth."

No, it's not a "miracle" either way. It just has to be possible. "Miracles" are just phenomena that we don't understand and have attached mystical significance to.
Ask an obstetrician. Births aren't miracles, they're a combination of biology and hard work. But births happen one at a time. Saying it's the same person on two different occasions requires some evidence.
Consider: If people have "souls" that can transmigrate into new bodies, but they have little or no "memory" of the previous life, can you even say they are the same person? What exactly is a "soul"? What is its purpose? How exactly is it "attached" to a body? Why does it only transmigrate at death (instead of, say, the middle of lunch)? At what point does it enter the new body and why then? If none of these questions is addressed, reincarnation can only be regarded as an unverified fantasy.
Most importantly, if every incarnation is imperceptible to the "soul" except the present one, what good is the idea of reincarnation? Does having a bad previous incarnation excuse bad behavior in the current one? Does the prospect of a better chance next time excuse injustice now? As far as I can tell, the fruits of "reincarnation" are complacency, fatalism and perhaps personal entertainment.
Even the karmic theory doesn't make a lot of sense. Good people reincarnate in better lives, bad people get worse ones? Sounds like a slippery slope to me. And without it, people live over and over again but the game is always reset each time, so what is the point? I'm okay with doing it once, well. Starting over every time can only be a cruel, cosmic joke. And making karmic "progress" without being able to perceive the whole process teaches what kind of lesson?
Reincarnation brought the caste system to India, inducing lifelong arrogance or despair, depending on one's birth. The Westernized version is a meaningless fantasy for people who don't think their present life is interesting enough to live. Even if it were fact, one can only live one life at a time, and it should be lived as if it were the only one that counts.

The human soul employs the method of reincarnation and evolution in order to manifest its divinity into the world. We all have behind us a series of countless incarnations and has lived in many civilizations and as well as many races and we all have the ability to tap into this inner divinity at any time if we would just devote some time to the art of meditation and insight as to our purpose in being here in this wonderful world.Man himself is an emerging God and there fore has na long way to tread in the unfolding of its inner divinity and to be truly alive.

God formed you in your mothers womb. He only gives you one chance. Get it right the first time.

Being "born again" is a spiritual concept, not physical. Once you are "born again" and accept Jesus, you have eternal life in Heaven. You're soul does not jump into another body or a human or animal, it lives forever in Heaven with Jesus.
