The Good Samaritan. Here Jesus tells a parable about a man who feels compassion for and helps another man, without any religious motivation to do so. The priest and the Levite just passed by, but it was the Samaritan who took pity on him.

Hi. I keep seeing ads for CSR jobs with Western Union and I was wondering if anybody has any experience with them. Also, what does their language test consist of? I'd just like to have an idea before I go take it ...if I decide to. I went to their webiste but the jobs available in my area aren't posted there so I didn't get much info.

Thanks in advance.

Look what your lord has promised for those who love him.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”

"Jesus has a very special love for you. As for me, the silence and the emptiness is so great that I look and do not see, listen and do not hear.- Mother Teresa to the Rev. Michael Van Der Peet, September 1979" http://news.yahoo.com/s/time/20070823/wl_time/motherteresascrisisoffaith;_ylt=AgsrTNMV1TvmkFhd_QfnpKis0NUE

There are many other statements like this from Mother Teresa as we are just finding out via the new book. I now have more respect for her,as it appears she was someone who followed, out of faith, but never "felt" the promised "spirit" and wasnt going to lie about the what she didnt feel.

Imagine this...heres a person that is the all-time model for "doers" of the faith...for practioners....for people who say little and do a lot.

Boy, if she never really "felt" God's presence...can you possibly believe anyone else's claim to the contrary? Answer: nooooo fricking way.

From many discussions and experiences, Americans can say anything negative about their country or president, but the second any person that is not American says somthing, they become patriots of the year and live in the best country on Earth. Im not having a go, I think it is good to be patriotic and stand up for what you believe in. I just want to know if Americans can admit it is common behavour for SOME Americans, maybe not you, but Some? I know you may be wondering why this is in the r&s section, well i think being patriotic is a part of ones spirit.

I'm currently reading 'The God Delusion,' I am an atheist and really I'm only reading the book out of interest. However, in the introduction there's a line where Dawkins suggests the book will turn religious people away from their faith. Unfortunately, to me, the book seems just too inconsistent and vague to have this effect.
