The RCC says Jesus set Peter up as the head of the church and the first Pope, but since neither of those guys probably even existed, that's a bit shaky . . .
The Greek Orthodox Church can trace ITS apostolic succession to Timothy, and hence from Paul, so they may actually be on firmer ground . . .
Yet any number of sects, schisms, denominations and cults claim THEY have the "One True Faith™" by virtue of a superior understanding of the Buybull, or some kind of private revelation . . .
Heathens, Pagans, and Wiccans all seem to understand that spirituality is personal and/or cultural . . . doesn't that seem more likely to be correct, generally speaking?
