Do athiest really believe that they have no soul?

from a previous question, i noticed many Atheists say that they don't believe they have soul!
so that makes sense! if you don't believe in YOUR OWN SOUL that exist within you, then how can you believe in God. oh man, you really are far away...

and just to make sure, how about Anger, emotions, and feelings. do you disbelieve in those ones too? or no as well?

so what is the different between you and Human Robot? that Human Robot do not feel, do not emotion, do not breath...

You have worded your question poorly. It should have been worded as follows:
Do atheist believe in the existence of a soul?

I am an atheist, yet I cannot speak for all atheists. I can only speak for myself. I have no beliefs that I have a soul.

What has anger, emotions and feelings have to do with souls? I have emotions. I do not have any soul.

Why would one believe that? We say there is no god, not that emotions do not exist. The two are not connected.

Our emotions and our mind are all products of our brain(physical). If you call that souls then we are in the same page. Not all atheists are the same, the only thing common about all atheist is their "disbelief" about gods, any other else aren't necessary, they can be a materialist, idealist or even a dualist and it still doesn't change the fact that they are atheist. Atheism = a disbelief in gods. All other rules still apply. The belief or disbelief in souls/spirits is not exclusively a theistic position.

what is a soul?? the thing that makes us feel anger, emotions and feelings? well my dear friend, i hate to break it to you, but those are nothing but little magic called chemistry and physics, we feel because of the nervous system which works by electronic pulses. these are all proved facts, all have evidence. but soul doesn't have any evidence of it's existence, why should i believe in soul?

That is the one area of atheism that I have trouble swallowing. I know my soul. I can 'feel' it.

well I can't speak for other atheists, after all atheism is simply the lack of belief in gods, however buddhists are atheists

emotions are chemical reactions in the brain - animals get angry, sad, scared - are you claiming animals have souls too?

Feelings are neurological reactions. They've been mapped in the brain, and they can be brought about by stimulating various parts of the brain with electrical probes.

And not only do we not believe WE have a soul, we also don't believe that YOU have one. It is a delusion brought on via enculturation.

study the brain...10^14 neurons each connected in 10^4 ways makes a massive system, this is like all of the computers in the world connected together in parallel...it is not surprising that we are capable of emotions etc.

A soul is a spiritual thing, not a physical thing. Atheists are not spiritual in any sort of God. Therefor, they don't believe they (or anyone else) has one in a spiritual sense.
