ex: I'm a christian/muslim first rather than a parent/spouse or lawyer/bricklayer? or is it the other way around? All religions are welcome to answer, even atheists. What about free will does it take precedence over religion and faith or not?
This is a serious question. It got me thinking about it when I saw God's Warrior by Christiane Amanpour on CNN.
P.S. I'm not going to pick the best answer. I'll let the community pick it.

This is a complex subject, but what do you think are some of the reasons for the crimes.I have no real answers but I have thoughts. 1.Guns can easily be imported in containers 2.Kids can divorce themselves from the reality of their actions due to things like computer games e.g.Grand Theft Auto 3. Parents do not spend enough time or instill enough moral value in their children for various reasons. I am sure their are other things so what do you think

Tried something like this over on the UK SC and got some............interesting answers. Directed to the northern states. As a trucker and cruiser (car) I've only missed AK, ME, NH and VT. Never had a problem with any of the northern states. Anybody feel like the Civil War (War of Northern Aggression :) ) is still goin on?

People often compare the nostradamus prophecies to Biblical prophecy. The major difference is that nostradamus prophecies are so incredibly vague, people can fit them into whatever event they want to:

Of the human flock, nine shall be set aside,
Being divided in judgment and counsel,
Their destiny shall be to be divided,
Kappa, Theta, Lambda, dead, banished, scattered

The great man will be struck down in the day by a thunderbolt.
An evil deed, foretold by the bearer of a petition.
According to the prediction, another falls at night time.
Conflict at Reims, London, and pestilence in Tuscany.

Not to mention, when the predictions were specific, they failed (quatrain 72, etc.)

Bible prophecies, however, always list places, names, and specific details:

Ezekiel 37:21-22
and say to them, `This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will take the Israelites out of the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from all around and bring them back into their own land. I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel.

So if you want to believe that these can be compared with each other, you just haven’t bothered to take a good look at either side. Unfortunately, many people just come up with their own ideas without studying to learn the true information.

If I'm not mistaken(and please do tell me if I am) english started in england, and since no native born americans speak the way they do in england, that means even when you think you're speaking propper english, you really aren't, its more like really old school ebonics, seeing as how we invented some of our own words and manuerisms of speaking. Now with that said, why do you speak down on people who speak ebonics like they're ignorant, when, if you had an education, you'd know you done the same thing?

Please watch her story and share it with others. It is a TRAGIC story but one that must be shared. Hopefully her story will touch your heart and you will be willing to step up to the plate and help children who can't help themselves.

While we are separated by different languages, we all share the same intuitive knowing unless, of course, it has been "educated" out of us by the misuse of language. The problem is that most of us have been partially alienated from our understanding, so it trails behind us Conscience.
For this reason, we are extremely sensitive to words. We tend equate language with reality, so that a mere word affect us in the same way as the thing for which it stand. For example, someone calls you a fool. (Like they do that to me often on YA-R&S). So, you react, you become upset, and you act like a fool (Even if you are not, you become one by reacting to words!)

Words, except when they are loaded with meaning in order to convey understanding, can be confusing and confounding.
One person uses words to say the right thing. Another person, with rhetorical slyness, twists the facts, but his words go down just as well. Which one do you believe ? What is truth ? Confusing ?

What say you all ?
