A couple had two little boys, ages 8 and 10, who were excessively mischievous. They were always getting into trouble and their parents knew that, if any mischief occurred in their town, their sons were probably involved.

They boys' mother heard that a clergyman in town had been successful in disciplining children, so she asked if he would speak with her boys. The clergyman agreed, but asked to see them individually. So the mother sent her 8-year-old first, in the morning, with the older boy to see the clergyman in the afternoon.

The clergyman, a huge man with a booming voice, sat the younger boy down and asked him sternly, "Where is God?".

They boy's mouth dropped open, but he made no response, sitting there with his mouth hanging open, wide-eyed. So the clergyman repeated the question in an even sterner tone,

i dont want to appear rude or discriminatory because that is not what i am trying to say here. i am just stating my opinion and i do not wish to offend anyone i just want to say how i feel.

it is my own personal belief that if you are an american citizin you should at all times speak english!

i went to DPS to get my permit the other day and there was a girl who was my age with her mom, her aunt i suppose and five other kids. dont ask me why the whole family came but they did. anyways, they were all shouting abnoxiously in spanish.

i just think there is no point of coming to a different country to "start a new life" if you are going to still speak your native language making it difficult for you and others to be of an understanding.

also, i was shocked by this, a house had a flagpole in the yard and on the flag pole they had the mexican flag flying above the american one!!! what is the point of becoming an american if you are not going to respect our country - your new country

Encarta dictionary says an ideology is a system of social beliefs; don’t atheists *believe* that there is no God? And don’t they *believe* that there’s no conscious higher power manipulating the universe? And don’t atheists gather in social groups to discuss the things they don’t believe?

I called it an ideology this morning and got laughed at by pretentious fools. I’m hurt because I think I was right.

I'm in desperate need for money and the two most expense things I have are my engagement ring and a necklace that my fiance gave me. They are both worth a lot of money, and I was thinking of pawning the necklace for a while and getting it back without telling him. Is it a good idea? This question has Always puzzled me, I have always wondered why the Catholic Church doesn't allow priests to marry?
I think it is the most natural thing in the world for a man to have a wife and family.
My pastor has a wife and two beautiful children (non catholic of course)
This is not an Insult to any Catholics, I have very good friends of many different religions.
Serious answers only please! I suppose that's a silly thing to say on here! but i can only hope !!

Today at work, we had a meeting in which our district manager came in from his office across town to talk to us about various things going on in the organization. At one point, he said something along the lines of: "I really want to go through with this, but I'm afraid that, at the moment, my equipment isn't up to the task."

I almost wanted to stand up and say, "That's what SHE said!" But alas, I didn't.

I told a co-worker about this, and he thought it was hilarious. It's probably best that I didn't say it, though. If I had, I would probably working on my resume instead of tooling around on Yahoo Answers.

you would think there are 2 sexual knowlages, one of the devil the beast(lust or to desire the flesh), and one of God? But as per the christains, not God, he is all the sex, as long as you are married and he gets to bless it. I see the sexual knowlage of this world and I hate it.....its like I have to share her beauty with my eyes, with my friends.

I took out an 11 thousand dollar loan to finance my startup business, I wanted to be an entrepeneur and developed great products, a website, bought advertising, created catalogs, but nothing has been selling. I work endlessly until the wee hours of the morning trying and work a full time job, and am always so tired.

Now all the money is gone, I am in debt and feel terrible about it. I wanted this busines as a way to support myself as a military wife (soon to be married) so that I could raise my own future children. I know that entrepenuership is for me but the more I try, the more it dosen't work. I need a money miracle in my life to rescue me from seemingly oppressive debt and feelings of failure. Should I continue to have faith and believe the financial blessing will come or succumb to failure and pick up a couple more jobs to pay the debt off? My intention was to free myself from the opression of being employed by others. Why do I continue to fail? What am I doing wrong here?
