Yes. As more Mormons get curious enough to investigate their own organization's history, they choose to leave. It's a wretched, male oriented, elitist CULT!

As has been noted, the key is that more non-Mormons are moving in. The data seemed to indicate it is probably tied to highways. Basically, people are moving around the US a lot more easily than they used to. Heck, I've moved to 3 different states so far, although I keep ending up back in Utah. It would also be interesting to see where the new immigrants are coming from (vs people born into the state). Are they Californians? Hispanics? Someone else?

Brian8907 has it right. The Mormon population in Utah is still increasing but at a lower rate than non-mormons.

the population isn't declining, but the percentage is. Right now 55% of Utah are mormon(so says a missionary who just started her mission)...

But with the LDS faith being a little over 12 million 2 years ago, and almost 13 million now...they're poplutation(world wide) is gaining...but just more people are moving to Utah...so less percentage of Mormons...

The Mormon population is actually increasing, but the percentage of Utahns that are Mormon is declining as more people of different faiths move in to the state.

Nope.

2 mormons + marriage = 4 kids on average. It is increasing.
