There is no trinity. Trininty was not mentioned in the Bible once. And by the way there is only ONE GOD.

Jesus never said he was the second god. Only some people say that, that want to make an "image" of God -stay in sin. Jesus is the only angle God created that did not sin. And always did as God told him. So he earned his job. But God is the only God.
Man made the second place trinity. But Jesus came second and the Holy Ghost after Jesus, so they are said in the order of their arrival.

The answerer before me is correct there is no trinity in the Bible, the reason that Jesus is second when commonly stating the parts of the holy Trinity is because God (the maker of humankind) chronologically came first, then the son (the saviour of humankind) then when the saviour left God left the (comforter of humankind the holy spirit which is the incarnation of God modern humans most interact with)

I believe Jesus is the Son of God, the Only Begotten Son in the flesh. I believe that that the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ) and the Holy Ghost are separate and distinct personages, that They are one in purpose. The preponderance of references in the Bible would lead an uninformed reader to the understanding that God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost are separate beings. That is, one must look to the third- and fourth-century Christian church, not to the New Testament itself, to make a case for the Trinity.

Judaism is monotheistic... (contrary to popular belief, so is Christianity)
However, In Genesis 1:26 God is speaking and says: "Let US make man in OUR own image according to OUR likeness..." (paraphrased, Italics added)...
I do not believe this implys that people were made in various gods images, but in the image of One creator, God.
In the beginning, God created mankind in His image and according to His characteristics. With a mind/will (spirit), with a soul (your essence), and with a body (means through which to make your spirit and soul manifest in a physical reality). Some may interchange what "spirit" and "soul" mean, but the concept is essentially the same. A "spirit" in my understanding is the gateway to the soul... a spirit can release or absorb what is holy and good or what is evil. What one allows into one's spirit is what will feed a person's essence, or "soul." What one feeds their soul through their spirit, is what creates life and health, or destruction and sickness.
"I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Thessalonians 5:23).

He didn't say it directly, but He said it implicitly. Just like He never told people not to kill themselves or to love themselves. He made it implicitly clear that human life is to be treated with dignity and respect. He also spoke about His relationship to God the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Probably in the same section where it says that Jesus was a member of a religion that didn't exist by his time and that was founded 620 years AFTER he died.
