I took out an 11 thousand dollar loan to finance my startup business, I wanted to be an entrepeneur and developed great products, a website, bought advertising, created catalogs, but nothing has been selling. I work endlessly until the wee hours of the morning trying and work a full time job, and am always so tired.

Now all the money is gone, I am in debt and feel terrible about it. I wanted this busines as a way to support myself as a military wife (soon to be married) so that I could raise my own future children. I know that entrepenuership is for me but the more I try, the more it dosen't work. I need a money miracle in my life to rescue me from seemingly oppressive debt and feelings of failure. Should I continue to have faith and believe the financial blessing will come or succumb to failure and pick up a couple more jobs to pay the debt off? My intention was to free myself from the opression of being employed by others. Why do I continue to fail? What am I doing wrong here?

It all depends on your business and how it fits in the area in which you live.

Please, please, please explore EVERY option you can for financial advice and sources for grant money. You may try to locate a womens' business owners organization or the small business administration. Take a day and do some research.

I own my own business and my husband and I did own a restaurant that we had to close. Being in business for yourself is HARD -

Keep faithful and start networking with creative people. Best of everything to you!

You don't need a money miracle. I have felt that same feeling and I think everyone at some point feels that way. The answer to your question is deeper than it seems and very difficult to give the right answer speaking from my own autobiography; so instead, I will tell you why I failed and maybe you might be able to figure it out, or maybe something might be similar.

I failed at my old line of business because I was unprepared. I didn't truely listen to my parents; I didn't learn and grow as a result, so when I got thrusted into a new environment, I was not ready. I didn't know how to keep and hold relationships, that includes work and personal. I lied to myself and others alot. I prayed and prayed, read the bible and asked god to help me, but I wasn't helping myself by reading, studying and practicing. I didn't take any risks with my personality because I was afraid people would see me as dumb and I didn't want to chance rejection, so I didn't learn and grow as a result of that. So, I found unique ways to float and coast my way through things. I learned how to control my surroundings and I often tried to control others. I studied psychology and used it. I worked hard, when I knew what I was doing and overcompensated for everything. I was often praised for being a hardworker; however, I never recieved any "employee of the month awards." I just continued to float until I grew extremely tired, my marriage fell to pieces and my work relationships went to **** and I finally gave up and moved to a different city to start over. I think I am on the right track now and am doing things differently; however, I'm 34 and my life is half over and I got two kids to feed.

Though this is R&S I have no knowledge about whether a financial miracle can or will occur for you.

However, there are some things *you* can do about your situation. It sounds as though you believe in your product and its marketability. If money is truly the only obstacle to your venture's success I suggest you reassess your business plan and goals, evaluate why it has not succeeded as you perhaps first expected and seek additional financing if you believe it can still be successful. I have started a number of successful businesses over the years and it is not easy but initial failure is not the end of the road. Reassess, reevaluate and refinance. It doesn't always work and in fact will be harder than the initial funding but it *can* work.

Also, if you took out the initial loan from a small business loan group at a bank, consider approaching them and talking with them about refinancing directly. Remember that if you don't the bank will likely lose the principal depending on how your company was legally structured. On the other hand, if you can demonstrate to them that you can succeed with additional financing, it may be possible to convince them to extend you further credit. After all, it may be in *their* best interest.

Hope this helps. Email me if you need additional details.

Edit: I said that I've started a number of successful businesses over the years. Also remember: I've also started a number of failed businesses over the years. :) Just pick yourself back up and go for it again. Learn from your mistakes and keep moving forward. You'll get there eventually.

Obey God's word as best You can.
Next,You need to give 10 percent to God the money that You
earn. It's called a tithe. An example would be a good christian based church. You have a spiritual enemy who puts a target up on You and your income.
Malachi 3:11 When You bring God the whole tithe and give
in offerings as he leads, God will stop the enemy from stealing from You.
Another thing is that You may need to pay what they call a Vow. That is a pledged amount going to the work of God's kingdom.
Say You want to give $100 a month towards one of God's
Evangelist's or say a Preacher or even a Missionary's
work. Over time You will begin to see a financial blessing
brought into your finances. Below is a link who's an
expert on financial breakthroughs.

You are continuing to fail because you are doing something that the public does not want, need, or already have. This is a problem that I see a lot of want to be entrepreneurs fall into. They get so worked up about an idea they go head first into it without doing any research on the market. As a business owner, you have got to know when to cut the cord. I think it is time for you to abandon your idea for now and then come back to it later. A thought for getting out of debt: Take out another loan preferable larger than the previous one if possible then talk with a stock broker and invest it. contiune to work and make payments on both debts. :it sounds stupid but in the end, (5 years) you will actaully have a profiet.

"My intention was to free myself from the oppression of being employed by others."
Sounds like you never had a RealisticBattlePlan to begin with - only dreams.
You may have to face reality and go to work to pay back the money.

But, don't throw your dream away - learn more about what you want to do - below is some info which may or may not help.

Oh, I've been where you are - I just never gave up my day job so I sorta survived.

One thing I have learned is debt sucks, and it will make you so depressed. I wanted to many times take the easy way out and bankrupt, but my husband would never do that. We finally sold our land and small house to pay most of the debt. We are still trying to pay the rest. Pay your debt and move on. Don't let it get you down. Sometimes we get in over our head without praying for something, to see if it was God's will. Good luck.

I will pray for you because I believe in financial miracles. You will still have to start paying on your debt though. Just keep believing because God will come through for you. I have been believing in a financial miracle for over 12 years and know that it is going to happen. I do not believe in failing, just learning and gaining experience. God promises to use everything in our life for our good and His glory. I think you are doing okay, just keep moving forward and do not ever give up. He has something wonderful in store for you.

I think you've confused faith with a fairy godmother. Faith in God does not guarantee success in business or finances.

Faith in God is about spiritual growth and often that is at odds with financial success.

I'm sorry your business did not work out. You should pray and have faith in God. Ask that his will be done...and remember that his will is not necessarily the same as yours.

Have faith in yourself and work hard, but you also have to use reason. If your products were not selling, that means that there is not a market for them. Do some research, and find a product that does have a market.
It can't be a "great" product if it is not selling.
