This one time I had a bag of chips and I traded it for a pop.

This really happened, its my favorite story to tell, but my family thinks its really dumb.

Is it good or am I just fooling myself? Please be honest.

I'm watching Untold Stories of the E.R and they mentioned they can't give blood products or restart his breathing if he stops breathing.

Are these beliefs true? If so, why do they believe this? Are there other aversions to medical treatment within the religion?

By the way, I ask this in total respect, with no intent to offend or criticize, but just to understand what the beliefs are.

I knew a pimp and I got to know him and hear his twisted mind. He was born to a ho who got pregnant by her daddy. He really believes in the pimpin. He went to college and he is a lovable guy and I don't know. I guess I'm sayin' if you haven't met one yet, don't judge until you meet one for yoself. He just trying to live too.. give it up for pimps n hos! He is banking too! Damn. The whole idea is just interesting to say the least. But I'm in school...could never do that.

the word aner for "men" is never used of women, because women can never be husbands. So when the Bible refers to 'mankind' is it really refering to women too?

The period of
‘uncleaness’ after childbirth is forty days for having a male child but eighty days for a female child.

I know in Leviticus 19:28 it says "Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord. So does that mean it is ok to get a tattoo if is not for the dead? and I was wanting to get one of a cross and say Jesus is my savior or something like that so would that be ok or is it even ok to be putting his name on us?? It is way too hard to read the old version and somebody said that whoever wrote it meant to say "though shall not commit murder" instead of "though shall not kill". so is there a version of it that is in modern english? otherwise I might as well not waste my time and do something more useful.

a seemly "normal" in every aspect, all a sudden starting 4 years ago started noticing different pieces of insects in my hair and on my body. This has finally gone full circle with every species of insect coming out of me from Head to Foot? I do not have a psychiatric illness or physical illness. I also started hearing voices starting six months ago when my ten year old son and I had to be separated for that period of time. The voices claim that they are, and in this order. Mother God, God, Jesus, Mother Theresa and The Rest of the Glorious Angels telling me that they are sending a Huge Message Through Me and I am to tell the world. My son is also experiencing this things although because he's only ten doesn't know what it was like before these things were this way. The insects have gone full circle and the voices Very Loud. I was born Feb. 10, 1958. He was born July 30, 1996. Any thoughts? Thanks to any and all.

it seems that somehow its okay to sacrifice an animal(which by the way does have feelings) and to be in religious wars for the sake of god. but both involve killing so what exactly is it that though shall not kill?

there are obviously some exceptions because otherwise the animal sacrifices and religious wars are a sin. so which one is it?

A former friend of mine asked me to put some of her belongings in my house. Later, she got beat up by someone & I felt sorry for her. She just got out of the hospital, & I asked her to pack her stuff & leave because I found out that she was doing big time dirt behind my back, & I found out the proof. Her stuff is out of my house. Problem is-she won't leave, & she's saying things to make me angrier. Is there any way I can solve this problem without the police getting involved? I don't want to get arrested for disturbing the peace, when someone is in MY house & won't leave. The ONLY reason I let her in my house is to get her stuff. She's pointing her fingers in my face & she calls herself, trying to intimidate me. I don't want to hurt this chick. She's not worth me going to jail for, but I want her out of my house, & I don't want the police to get involved. But I'm about to hurt her seriously!

I cant seem to figure it out. My uncle and aunt say its who created us and not God. They say that God cant create inperfection, and if thats the case then we came from the big bang idea.

I found a place that says the Elohim is a word in hebrew that means dual. The have words that mean one, more then one, or dual. And that is one that means dual. Meaning that its more then one but the same? Or what?

So Jesus was Jewish and that is probably why he was not baptised as an infant and it was not nor is it now a part of the Jewish custom.

But had he been baptised as an infant would that be Ok to baptise infants then?

To my previous question, where people clearly stated that God created EVERYTHING, then how can anything be bad or wrong, since God obviously created it? It is not possible, since if you state that something that God created is bad or wrong, then you are going against God. God therefore created abortion, etc. Just wanting to show the contradiction.

I went to a Christian service last week, and the Minister went on about how finding Jesus was the only path to salvation and happiness, and that you can't find it in any other religion. He mentioned Buddhism, Hinduism, obedience to the Pope, etc., as all being the wrong path. I was really offended. It's the same mentality that Al Quaida will use when referring to the Christian and Jews of America as Satans. Should I write him a letter telling him that it's fine for him to fine meaning in his religion but he should not put down other religions?

I cannot find a way to believe in God....How do I do that? I have no idea how people can possibly believe that there is 'something' that has created this. it all seems so unrealistic to believe that one being created this.....
