I'm watching Untold Stories of the E.R and they mentioned they can't give blood products or restart his breathing if he stops breathing.
Are these beliefs true? If so, why do they believe this? Are there other aversions to medical treatment within the religion?
By the way, I ask this in total respect, with no intent to offend or criticize, but just to understand what the beliefs are.

They say that blood should never be donated. Needles should never be used.

Jehovah's Witnesses do believe in blood transfusions, but we don't have anything to do with it. Jehovah's Witnesses would rather die than have a blood transfusion. They would because they follow the Bible's directions, and the Bible says that we shouldn't have anything to do with Blood Transfusions because our blood is valuable, and you can die if they put the wrong blood in your body.

I was a minister in the cult referred to as jehovah's witnesses. No, consumption of blood under any circumstances is taboo. They base this on old testament verses that state you should not eat blood.
If you are curious about their beliefs, it is quite like wondering what nazis are like. Their system is 1. Separation 2. Isolation 3. Control. Thank you.

Simply it means no reusing of whole blood products or major fractions.
Broken down derivitives (minor fractions) are considered to be a conscience matter.
Blood expanders , like saline and other new generation expanders are acceptable and work great.
Resusetation is OK.
I had a HUGE knee operation and many doctors woudln't do it without having extra blood standing by , I searched and found a real doctor (actually a professor) and he did the operation with only 2 teaspoons of blood lost.
Demanding no blood GETS you the best possible treatment.

Blood transfusions are rejected and if a Witness receives one willingly, it results in his eternal death. However, the society allows Hemopheliacs to consume blood for medical purposes to save their life. Another example of a false teaching from the JW's and watchtower society.

I don't know if you're watching a re-run but they've changed that rule within their religion. They can now accept blood transfusions but YES, that was true before the last 5 years because they believe your blood is your soul.

l think all, J.W. are false profits,as told in the bible they would come.as the devil. their number one concern is money,and brain washing you. actualy, J.W. stands for Judas worshipers.
