Everytime I attend a Mass, the priest prays for religious vocations. In my town, 2 smaller churches closed because there weren't enough priests. The Romans complained about it, but how many of them send their sons off to be priests?

I read scripture, pray and meditate, and for the most part feel I have a more personal connection with God that I don't have the urge to go sing and hear gospel with the people in my community. Does this make me a bad Christian? It's not avoidance of the collection plate, or boredom of the sermons, but the community of eyes that are so judging based on looks alone, the fact I'm simply there isn't enough for them.

Are X-rays and autopsies faked just to disprove religion as well? Do radiologists Photoshop the X-rays before anyone sees them?

An apartment complex near me has a sign that reads M-O-N-T-R-E-U-X, but on the TV commercial they pronounce it "Mawn-troe" I thought the spelling of that French word was M-O-N-T-R-E-A-U-X. Notice the missing "A" in their sign? I think the sign maker screwed up. What do you think?

produce a mixed up "christianized" general public from those tribal ancestry backgrounds, that not only doesn't have enough time to fit into industrial society because they are "daydreaming" or in trances up to 15% of their day, but also become our "damaged property" with adhd, add, bipolarness that can only be cured with detoxification from christianity and it's dysfunctional eternal damnation worship of which it has no proof?

Misinformation No, 14 - tithing began in the Garden of Eden"

Some people say that tending to the tree of the knowledge of good and evil without being able to eat of its fruit is the same principle as the tithe !

They want to show that Adam and Eve were tithing in the garden of Eden to prove that tithing is an eternal principle, still in effect today !. Is it ?

John 14:12
14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father and the Father in me; or else believe me for the sake of the works themselves.
14:12 "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I go to the Father.
14:13 Whatever you ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son;
14:14 if you ask anything in my name, I will do it.

34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.
35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

It's occurred to me that some people on this site believe that homosexuals have only just started appearing, and that somehow this means that either they were not "created by God" or that people are just following a "trend".
For those people who say things like "There were hardly any gays like 30 years ago" and think it means something, you couldn't be more wrong. The fact is that there were no openly gay people back then, but there were gay people. Homosexuality has existed just as long as heterosexuality, as documented in nature and in our own history.
Seeing as I do not believe in God, I can agree that gays are not created by God as nobody is, but the idea that people are gay as a "trend" or to be cool is ridiculous. Do you really think people would be willing to have same-sex sex just to be cool? If anything, it would make them less liked within our own prejudiced society.
Sorry to rant but this has really been pissing me off.

Islam has given freedom of choice to those who wish to get married. The mutual choice of the would-be-spouses is given the highest consideration:

"Do not prevent them from marrying their husbands when they agree between themselves in a lawful manner." (Quran 2:232)
The process of mate selection should be a function of a healthy balance between the freedom of choice of the would-be-spouses and consideration of the influence and consent of the parents/guardians.
The freedom of choice of those who wish to get married should not preclude the influence and consent of the parents/guardians nor should the parents/guardians ignore the wishes and consent of the would be spouses.

Falling in love is not a pre-condition for marriage in Islam. However, for the purpose of selecting an appropriate mate, the would-be- spouses are allowed to see and/or talk to each other.

Prophet Muhammad (S) recommended:

"When one of you seeks a woman in marriage, and then if he is able to have a look at whom he wishes to marry, let him do so". (Abu Dawood)
The would-be-spouse are allowed to see each other for matrimonial purposes under the direct supervision of their mahram relatives. This provision is expected to be conceived and executed with piety and modesty.
Prophet Muhammad (S) instructed:

"No man has the right to be in the privacy with a woman who is not lawful for him. Satan is their third party unless there is a mahram". (Ahmad)
The would-be-spouses residing in non-Muslim societies are recommended to enter into a pre-nuptial commitment to safeguard Islamic values and Muslim personal law.

The christians cling to a couple of lines from a translation of Josephus as evidence Jesus existed. The old testament is full of bizarre stuff like a global flood and plants appearing before light along with a ridiculously young Earth.

Wouldn't you expect a bit more evidence if it were all true?

If Jesus really did live, and performed the works christians believe of him, wouldn't every scholar of the day have written about him?

If God performed the big scale miracles credited to him in the old testament, wouldn't all who encounted these feats been converted?

Why didn't the Egyptians convert to the Abrahamic God after the tales of Exodus?

Could it be because it never happened?

It goes into politics, war, ect. but the beginning completely debunks Christianity. We all know the religion basically just took from the Pagans, Egyptians and so on, but this documentary makes you wonder why the religion is still believed by so many people.

You need to watch this movie, it will change your life. Or at least watch the first part, it presents all the information very clearly. The rest is Big Brother type stuff, it makes you very scared of our government.

I mean look at the news pedofiles that were protected by the church. More people killed in the name of Islamic religion.
Morman's taking multiple wives some as young as pre-teen and they have no say so as to who they marry. Shouldn't religion have to obey the law or be disbanned?
