produce a mixed up "christianized" general public from those tribal ancestry backgrounds, that not only doesn't have enough time to fit into industrial society because they are "daydreaming" or in trances up to 15% of their day, but also become our "damaged property" with adhd, add, bipolarness that can only be cured with detoxification from christianity and it's dysfunctional eternal damnation worship of which it has no proof?

I am talking about visions of people long since past, deceased! I might call this divine, but the church certainly does not!

Visions aren't necessarily 'evil' in Christianity. Check out Hildegard von Bingen, Juliana of Norwich, Margery Kemp, Joachim de Fiori, San Juan de la Cruz, indeed, even St Paul himself - all worked within the framework of Christianity and had visions of the Divine. Hildegard actually illuminated her visions with her Sisters in their Abbey. You can see them by doing a Googlesearch Hildegard+Bingen+Illuminations.

Visions are part of the religious experience. Always have been.

Where did you get your figures and aren't you confusing Christianity with those on drugs. There is a difference, one can snap out of a trace but it can take days to come down from a high.

And to call getting a vision a waste of time or "damaged property" is not to understand either the creative mind or the vision.

Have you never heard of how many inventions and songs were created this way or how people are awakened from a sleep with the answer to a question or a new idea?

Perhaps if those who say that the industrial society are manufacturing better relationships along with better technology should take a realistic look at the real world.

I am not exactly sure what you are trying to say. I do know that I come from a very culturally diverse family. I tinker on the edge of Christianity, because the basic principals of it hold true to me. I also know that many other beliefs are valid, true, and not evil. There is nothing wrong with being a Christan. There is also nothing fake or wrong with visions. Neither produce adhd or bipolar people. I think that psychologists are just starting to understand a few things for the first time and they have taken it a bit far as well. Whoever is brain washing you and making you prejudice against other humans needs to shut up.

Visions can be produced by a variety of physical conditions (eg fasting), psychological stress and illnesses (particularly mental) which having nothing to do with God. When it comes to claiming they are from God then people have to be very careful to look at what might be producing them. Only true spiritual discernment will give an answer.

Can you re-state this question? I'm having a hard time understanding you. I'm serious. I think there is a good point in there somewhere, but can't understand enough to clearly understand.

Blessed Be
