If you know something absolutely, and it is presumably a fact, in your perspective anyway, is 'faith' pointless?

If i know for a fact that my mom brought home a loaf of bread, would there be any reason for me to need to have 'faith' that she did?

So, if faith does mean you do not know absolutely, then do you admit you might be wrong when you show 'faith'?

I say this because Christians say they know for a fact God exists, but they have 'faith' that he exists at the same time.

I once saw a guy ask if muhammed married a 6 year old girl when he was 50 and had sex with her when she was 9.

After the question about 500 people wrote that he was spreading hate, was a racist, and making things up.

A well meaning muslim posted on another question that this was a good site to learn about Islam, so I went there:

http://www.islam-qa.com/index.php?ref=12708&ln=eng

2 – It was narrated from ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) married her when she was six years old, and consummated the marriage with her when she was nine, and she stayed with him for nine years.

Feel free to look around the site and find more crazy stuff, as there is a lot.

Do muslims think they should denounce this guy and al-Bukhaari and al-Tabari also the same way they did with the muhammed cartoons?

I was disfellowshiped 4 years ago and does that mean I am the same as a non member? Does this mean if I want to sin now is the time to do it because I won't be punished as harshly? Why is it a blessing to take away blessings like my bishop said? I don't understand. Thanks!

to try that *really bad name* in Ohio with a double murder? The women who was pregnant and he killed her?

A "bunch of cells" can survive outside the uterus at about 22 weeks with proper care. Abortion is still legal at that stage in alot of states.

And for the ignorants who say a baby only becomes a baby when it has a heart and organs, that happens at 6 weeks my dear, LONG before most abortions take place.

I am one of those "fundies" who doesnt use birth control, or believe in planned parenthood, AND doesnt believe in abortion... And it has a very simple solution to the problems you all have comprehending this...

*Gasp* STOP HAVING UNWED SEX.

MOST abortions are by unwed mothers. Very very few are wed mothers. Stop sinning, and you wont have to further your sin by killing Gods creation.

I am 22, and have 3 children, and have had one miscarrige. My baby died at 8 weeks, and was that, a baby, and had a soul. God chose to take that baby. How dare I do his job?

i recently read an article about evangelicals going to Africa and successfully converting 16 percent of the population in the past few years...these preaching leaders live in multi million dollar mansions and show up in white suits claiming to know Jesus and making the poor Africans pay to be cured and saved from things as aweful as AIDS...how can a servant of God that is this wealthy take money from poor people and then claim to cure them of illnessess that are incurable?! this is wrong on soooo many levels, but someone must think this is right, so, is there anyone out there that can defend this act?
