Paganism is a blanket term. Witchcraft is too, just a smaller blanket! Witchcraft would fall under the term Pagan first.
The art of invoking spirits could fall under many different belief systems. But from your wording, I would refer that one to Shamanism. Which would also fall under the term pagan. Shamanism is the oldest spiritual belief system known to the history of mankind.

Witchcraft is a technique in much the same way that prayer is a technique. It is used in many different religious contexts.
The term "Pagan" can refer to any non-Christian religion, but is often used to describe a family of earth-focussed and often polytheistic faiths more accurately (in my opinion) called Neo-Paganism. Some of the Neo-Pagan faiths, including Wicca, involve the practice of witchcraft by many of their members.
Witchcraft was around long before Christianity, and certainly long before the Neo-Pagan faiths. And no, witchcraft doesn't usually have anything to do with invoking spirits.
Witchcraft 101 would go something like this, at least as I was taught: All things in the universe are interconnected by energy, which some witches (including Wiccans) perceive as Divine in nature. This is how witchcraft works: by focussing my intent, and using sympathetic correspondances (certain herbs for courage, for example), I can create an amulet using those herbs which will stimulate courage in the person who wears it. Similarly, by using a lock of hair from a person who is ill, I can (with their permission) set energies in motion that will help them to heal.
In this sense, witchcraft is a very mechanistic worldview. The entire universe is seen as a giant interconnected machine, and by applying one's will to exert pressure one area, one creates a cascade effect that causes change in another area.
Hope this helps clear things up for you.

Paganism is taken from the Latin Paganus. Its meaning is "People of the woods and fields" and was 1st used after Constantine declared Rome Christian and those of the outlying areas of the Rome empire did not accept his order.
Witch is a word used long in a denigrating way by Christians before Neo-Pagans brought it honor. the Crafts have been around as long as Humankind.
Necromancy is an art of soliciting information from deceased spirits. Necromancy was practiced by many recognized religions in and before historical times.

Paganism is an umbrella term encompassing many different beliefs, of Eart-based Ways.
Witchcraft, some see as practice of magick and as such it has existed since the first men & women began to practice any form of sympatetic magick (eventhough the name wasn't there)
Another definition of Witchraft - folk practices surviving from pre-Gardnerian times, in the form of fam-trads,
so, some Pagans may term themselves as Witches & vice versa but, they are not necessarily the same.
And, as far as 'invoking spirits' plenty of magickal practices out there not necessarily Pagan, or Witchraft.
