I do.

And, by the way, Arizona voted down the gay marriage ban, so that could also be great state to live in.

people push religion? I want to know from personal experiences where you have had someone try to force their religion on you. Please do not give examples of encounters on the internet. I want real life situations please. Maybe I can learn from others experiences. Thanks.

... voila, instant universe?

Evolution is not just one science that stands alone. It is supported by dozens of other sciences, not the least of which are geology and physics.

This is not experimental stuff.

This is stuff from the thirties and forties that led to the making of the atomic bomb.

This is stuff they use to find coal and oil.

This is the kind of science they use when excavating Holy Land relics.

Dating, morphology, cladistics, dna comparisons, all are demonstrated true, and are the underpinnings of Evolution.

A big invisible guy makes the universe in a day, or rock-solid science: which is harder to believe?

Here is just one case in many.. Unless you are a physician on this site, I think you will have a hard time disputing this:
Perry was with his daughter just after she gave birth to baby Talyah six weeks early.

They were facing disaster, as the baby was born with a hole in her heart and her blood wasn't flowing right.

They got a prayer chain of Bethel people praying all over the city as they themselves stood by the baby, desperately pleading with God.

Then the doctor -- an unbeliever -- suddenly shouted as he was doing an echocardiogram on the baby's heart, "Would you look at that!"

Amy Goodall watched with the doctor as the hole in her baby's heart disappeared on the echocardiogram.

She said, "And he's all 'look at that! This heart, it's healing right here in front of me.'"

One of the doctor's reports before all this discussed the hole in Talyah's heart, but another report after the healing makes no mention of the hole, because it had indeed totally disappeared.

If, after your communion service, there is leftover wine or grape juice or bread, what do you do with the leftovers? If a piece of bread drops to the floor, what is done with it? Is any special care taken with the washing of cups and plates used in communion?

Most importantly, WHY do you do these things?

The NAACP held a ceremony to symbolically 'bury' the 'n' word during their annual convention in Detroit.

This is a message to the hip-hop & rap industry, white people, and black people with an inferiority complex to quit slinging slurs as a standard operating procedure. Read the article: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070709/ap_on_re_us/naacp_convention_n_word;_ylt=ApcXTXBMmu4_05PDL6BK445H2ocA

no not the moomins the mormons (the church of the latter day saints).

I have a friend or to say i did have a friend who is a member of the mormon church and two years ago he was sent to scotland with his church and hasn't been seen since. OK its not quite as serious as it sounds, we know he is alive but are not allowed to talk to him via phone, email and can only contact him via letter which we reckon are probably read before they get to him. He left to work with the church 2 years ago and since then hasn't been allowed home once, not for christmas or birthdays or even for his grandads funeral.

All of this hasn't given me a great view of the mormon church, so i just want to know what their beliefs are and what they are doing up there. I don't want to imply that they are brainwashing him or something but do you think they are brainwashing him? and if he ever returns do you think we will ever recognise our once good friend?

If you ever heard "Around the world" by Daft Punk, it kind of reminds me of that. They just keep repeating "God's house, the house of God" over and over. The video is animated. Anyway, would like to find it again, do you know who the artist is, or anything? Thanks!

Is this the kind of thing God can just do because he's God? If so, what kind of god would even think of such a thing - nevermind following through with it?

If you read Marilyn Manson's book, you'll find out that he was raised in a strict fundamentalist home where they taught him that the UPC code was the "mark of the beast".
He was terrified of life waiting for Jesus to return and a world filled with evil. When he figured out that he was being conned, he decided to embody the very image he was taught to fear.
Discuss.
