My aunt commited suicide 2 days ago. That is 3 close family members in my life and I am 30. She actually did it the day before I posted a yahoo question about my own anxiety. We have severe depression issues within my family. I have my own religious beliefs and would never go that far now though I have thought about it in the past at serious low points. Your thoughts...anyone know any direct references from the bible. Though I have had the same beliefs for years, you find yourself questioning them when it is this kind of situation.

just thinking about Uncle Waynes previous question about saying sorry , has me thinking about how I have changed

I was very cold hearted , woulndn't even tell my mum I loved her let alone anyone else
didn't care too much if I hurt people , just shrugged it off and got on with my life

I can't even imagine being like that any more
it seems like a different person
and this change has only happened in the past 8 years or so
thank goodness I have grown , developed a sense of empathy and compassion
I am not even sure how or when this change took place ... only that it has

how have you changed ?
do you attribute it to anything in particular ?

Vengence is mine, says the Lord. Does this mean that He is vengeful or that we don't need to concern ourselves with correcting our neighbors? If we spend our time taking vengence ourselves aren't we consumed with anger or hatred?

Jesus warns us to not be angry with our neighbors. He says it is the sin of murder. Who among us hasn't felt anger at someone? If we stay vengeful, the anger never ceases. If we express our anger to the One who can do something about it, He will release us from the anger, setting our hearts in order, leaving us able to love our neighbors who are sometimes our enemies.

He tells us to love our enemies, pray for those who would harm us. We change our hearts into loving everyone knowing that correction need not come from us because vengence belongs to the Lord. Other people don't belong to us but to the Lord.

An objection to loving the Christian God heard from Pagans is that we worship a vengeful God. Is this true?

Yours in Christ Jesus, Grace

Jesus sinned to save us.......killed himself, or caused the father to sin to pick us over him on a tree. So God needs to sin to defeat sin. He is no differant than us, he a sinner.

God forsaked the oath he made to the Jews...it in Issaih. He promised to never leave Isreal??? Guess God is a lier??? if the Jews do not love Jesus they go to hell...ONLY way to the father is by me.

he shows stupidity.....when the lady touched his garment, he was like who touched me...duh???? if this was the son of God he would of known....what is the lesson here?

He came and destroyed the laws, the ones God himself put there. He made you think that the easy road is the right way. Shows a weekness in God, he can not make up his mind...I right these laws, I brake them, I right them, I brake them....this god is now stupid, writes laws that we need saving from.

I never found him in my seek...what have you found, have you looked for him addibly? or do you just *feel that he is there*?

Other than the 4 gospels this may just be the greatest book on the life of Christ you will ever read. Truely inspired.

South Park. They have been bitching and moaning forever about how evil South Park is and about how it only discriminates against Christians. This is proof that atheists don't care about criticism and Christians are just too easily offended and need to lighten up. When South Park made fun of Christians, the Christians went crazy with protests and all kids of other stupidity. The funny thing is the creators of South Park dedicated 2 whole episodes to bashing atheists. They even made fun of Richard Dawkins. Guess what, not a single atheist protested those 2 episodes. You know why? Because they were funny as hell and atheists know how to take a joke without picketing and causing mass stupidity in the streets. Just lighten up people. Quit taking everything so seriously and just take South Park for what it is, A JOKE!!!!!

I'm not trying to be disrespectful, please answer yes or no

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.

This bothered me because I noticed
that during the low periods of my life,
when I was suffering from
anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints.

So I said to the Lord,
“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life
there have only been one set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most, you have not been there for me?”

The Lord replied,
“The times when you have seen only one set of footprints in the sand,
I was probably busy helping one of the other 16 billion people on the planet you selfish prick

We are in a time and age that you need to be sure of your relationship with God. It's not about if He come bless you because you have been good or not. It's about if you know God is with you at all times. I do not believe that you are not to far away from God to stay connected to Him. You just have to believe that you can make a difference in your life. I encourage you to take this time in your life to refocus your thoughts and opinions about your relationship with God. You can do anything you put your mind to.

I was told that no matter how good of person you are in this life, you could save millions of peoples lives, cause world peace, etc , if you don't "accept" god as lord you will go to hell automatically, and because he told me that : When I go to heaven's gates They will say I knew I should have accepted because one of his followers told me... so I go to hell....

Doesn't this sound flawed? And If that was true, why wouldn't he just "not" tell me?
