I think its good to have your own opinion, but when you start pushing it on people in rude ways, it drives me crazy!

For the one who said that I'm the pot calling the kettle black! Do you know the difference between a question and pushing your opinion on someone and telling them they are going to go to hell if they don't change?

didn't think so!

Yes. I do, and Koran thumpers, political ideology thumpers and everyone who thinks they now the ultimate truth and all we need to do is be hit by their big stick (wether literal or metaphorical) and so fall into line.

Hey, all I ever do is try to answer the question that are asked.
Some times, the answers are appreciated...even by some of the atheists. I'm not sure how I could be pushing the bible on you if you ask a question about religion and I answer it. Sorry it drives you crazy. You guys really grill my cheese sometimes, too. But that's life on the mean streets of Y/A R and S!!

Eve though I am a "Bible thumper" (aka CHRISTIAN) I know that it is VERY annoying to have them pushing it on you 24\7, talking about the end of the world, telling you that you are an evil person....

I, personaly, choose not to do that unless the person has a genuine interest. And when they go door to door trying to push it on you.... I don't believe that.

We can't all be robots believing the same exact thing.

Us "Bible thumpers" should mention it slightly ONCE and DROP IT unless the other person brings it up. Plant the seed, and watch the tree grow.

So, yes. I can see why your are beening driven stark raving mad. :)

First of all I am not a Bible thumper, I am a believer in the One that the Bible points too- Christ. It is good to have your opinion, too- however when you write questions like this, do you ever think that this could drive Christians crazy? If you want people to respect your opinion, then don't do what you say we do.

And your opinion is that we are "bible thumpers"? And you say to us "when you start pushing it on people in rude ways, it drives me crazy!"?

I believe one can spread God's word without pushing it on others. I tell others in two ways, when they ask me about it or to invite someone to a event. No means no, if someone tells me they are not interested I except their answer. I recently mentioned to my pastor that I don't believe in pushing God on others, he agreed with me. I like what a poster quoted from the Bible saying that when the gospel wasn't received .... they moved on.

I totally agree. I think the worst part of bible thumpers is that they aren't open to any other religions or ideas. Once they find out that someone has a different opinion they attack with the bible.

No I get annoyed with all the dumb questions on r&s. Is there a God? How many believe in God? How many doubts there is a God. People on r&s are really simple. You happen to be one of them.
Your question is rude and drives me crazy. Go read a love story that is the most excitment you are going to get in your life from here on out.
P.S. There is a God and he will return soon, so be ready.

As a Christian we are asked to carry the message, not cram it down throats. And sadly its about hell and damnation.
When I testify I want to explain what God means to me,helped me,or can help others.
Christ said "if your message is not received, shake the dust from your sandels and move on"

Born again?! No, I'm not. Excuse me for getting it right the FIRST time.

Why do born-again people so often make you wish they'd never been born the first time?
