Notice there aren't Mormon sites, forums.. etc.. dedicated to bashing other faiths.. Why all the hate from these faiths who claim to be followers of Christ?

11 out of the 15 people in my office is attending a baseball game. I decided not to go b/c I don't like baseball and I have to study. Am I wrong for not going? I accidently said, I don't want to go b/c I do not like baseball. Is that rude?

I AM a christian! I'm Catholic.

I HAVE read the Bible. I also read the God delusion, in fact, I read a lot of books, and that's why when I make an opinion, it is an informed opinion, and when it is a question, it is a reasonable, thought out question.

Can someone please tell me why fundementalists dismiss my questions by labelling me as an athiest and telling me to read the Bible JUST BECAUSE my questions are difficult and raise awareness of the inherrent flaws in following the Bible to the letter?

how do parents (dads especially) outright deny paying support, and you can do nothing. a deadbeat parent doesnt have any thing and intentionally doesnt work to not have to pay support, even when there is a court order, why do they not go to jail!!!! maybe its because im on the loosing side. ive always supported my child with the only father hes ever known, his stepdad since age 2. and we have always done it on our own, but when money is tight, it infuriates me that this person has no accountability. iam i wrong. what do other people think about this? and no i dont even know where he is, and havent for several years. sorry about rambling.

I answered a question on religeon and atheism. I am a Christian, but I believe everyone has a right to believe as they choose. I do not try to push my religeon on my friends but choose to lead them to God by example. You can lead a lot farther than you can push. A self-righous teenager IM'd me saying I was condemning people to Hell by not trying to force them to believe! I thought it was rude and inconciderate of her to come into my home putting me down. What do you think?

Religion has, from time to time, boycotted various fiction books. However, a religious figure once told me that half of what is in the Bible is "crap," and is not true. If this man was correct, than shouldn't the Bible itself be removed from religion?

Is humor a tool of Satan or something? I mean, for as much as humor is such a large part of peoples lives, the bible must be the most un-funny book ever written...

I've been shopping today and as usual when in the local garden centre I look for half dead plants. They are always reduced and then I fetch them home to try and rescue them. I don't know which gives me the most pleasure, the fact that I had a bargain or that they survive because of my tender care and I have such a pretty garden. I would never be able to afford to pay for so many plants if I had to pay full price.
So my question is what in your view has been your biggest bargain recently? Thanks for answering x

So, Genesis explains that God created man in his own image, right? I once heard that the hebrew word for "image" used in that passage was a word referring to the spiritual image, not the physical image. Meaning that humans were created to reflect God's intelligence and ability to discern right from wrong, not to reflect what God physically looks like. Does anyone know what I'm talking about...is there a source where I can find more info on this?

then divorced the women and married each other.

"For example, two big success stories of the ex-gay movement, Michael Bussee and Gary Cooper, were two of the original co-founders of Exodus International. (In the interest of total honesty, let me clarify this: Exodus says that Gary Cooper was not actually a co-founder, although he was around at the beginning of the ministry and has referred to himself as a co-founder. Michael Bussee was a co-founder.) For a long time, they toured the country, speaking at churches and telling people their stories of how they had "come out of homosexuality" and were now happily married with children. This continued until they left Exodus, divorced their wives, and married each other. "

Google them...quite an interesting story.

People may try hard to deny their God-given sexual orientation...but, they will not have peace until they accept themselves the way God made them...which is gay.

Were you born straight? If so, could you "become gay"?

Have you ever considered Satan is actually a Good guy, that was trying to save people from an unfair God? The way the Christian God is described, s/he does seem like a big unfair butt wipe.
