in paradise on earth. The world will be perfect. No crime, No death, No pain. These are some of the things the Bible mentions, but what would you like to see the earth rid of either in a global or personal sense?? (rev. 21:3,4) Isnt this a wonderful hope for us all!!!!!

umm ok so im in middle school.
we got our yearbooks the other day and had a signing.
so apparently people were writng (and drawing i think) very inappropriate things. (and then they had the teachers sign them) [???]
so they took the yearbooks away.
i mean, we all PAID for them. they can't just do that!!! or can they?

It has been reported that Tony Blair intends to convert to catholicism once he has stopped being the Prime Minister. Apparently he has been attending mass for some years but has tried to keep it quiet as it is obviously a requirement that UK Prime Ministers are fully paid up members of the Church of England.

Does his behaviour in this respect tell you anything about the man?

"No man shall be compelled to frequent or support any religious worship, place, or ministry whatsoever, nor shall be enforced, restrained, molested, or burdened in his body or goods, nor shall otherwise suffer, on account of his religious opinions or belief; but that all men shall be free to profess, and by argument to maintain, their opinions in matters of religion, and that the same shall in no wise diminish, enlarge, or affect their civil capacities"

"Millions of innocent men, women and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burned, tortured, fined and imprisoned. What has been the effect of this coercion? To make half the world fools and half hypocrites; to support roguery and error all over the world" - Thomas Jefferson
I'd like to see some actual proof saying our Founding Father was a Christian and not Deist/Freemason?

Me & my hubby have bought a house in Southern France-We are moving out there, maybe next year, for good. My French language is not that good at the moment. I have read many things on here and elsewhere that say 'if you can't speak fluent French then don't move there'. Obviously you'll never be fully 'fluent' unless you learn from a native speaker i think. Is anybody willing to help me with my language skills once i'm over there?

A lot of times on R&S, we talk about the differences in our beliefs. Let's talk about the similiarities between the different religions or denominations. Most people fear what they don't know. Let's all get behind that. So, what Faith are you and what do you think is at least one thing you have in common with every other Faith, even Atheists and Agnostics, (who certainly have the right to believe the way they wish)?. Thanks, and have a super day!

Many people said that catholics pray to Marry and saints, thus worshiping them. I, as a catholic, say we ask them to pray for us. Do not (those of you that believe in God) you ask people to pray for you in times of need?

How is that not the same thing?

I notice many people use examples of Hitler, Zeus and Santa. I myself tend to bring Johnny Depp into many philosphical discussions.

Who's your favorite?
