Yes, he obviously is looking for redemption from his heinous acts as PM.

I think you might have confused the part about our Prime minister having to be C/E with the royal Family who are by tradition Church of England and that's what they should be as its the main religion of our country
Prime ministers can be any religion as long as they keep their religious ideals and beliefs separate from their government decisions
Tony Blair as far as i`m concerned isn`t fit for any religion and i`m not the only one to feel that way .The Church of The Nativity in Bethlehem which is classed as the birth place of Christianity and there for sacred to all Christian Denominations and is where Christian Church leaders go for a pilgrimage and meet with each other has banned him from entering their Church for life because according to them he is a war criminal and a murderer of Children
theres nothing he could do to make himself sleezier than he already is .

Tony Blair has always been Catholic, so has his wife and all of their children were baptised Catholic. It was on the news when his son Leo was baptised, so it's hardly unheard of that Blair is a Catholic. He has always been totally open about it.
I think you've gotten mixed up with the requirement that UK Kings and Queens must be C of E and can't marry Catholics.
The fact that you got the two important facts of your question totally wrong makes me think you made this question up solely to make Tony Blair look bad.
And to quote your question 'Does his behaviour in this respect tell you anything about the man?', your question tells me an awful lot about you.

I must have missed something, but you can be a Catholic without leaving the Church of England. In fact the last Latin Mass I attended was in an Anglican Church - Roman Catholics having long abandoned it except in special circumstances. As to a law saying that all PM's must be C of E - what about Disraeli? - or is this a new law?
De Israel? The man was Jewish.

Yeah. It tells me that he's perfectly free to believe anything he wishes. No biggie! If Catholicism is really his cup of tea, then I'm happy for him that he soon will be free of any constraints that may have been blocking him from making the move.
Too bad for him that the UK apparently still doesn't have the amount of political freedom that we have here in the USA. The UK really needs to work on that one!
And, BTW, just for the record, I'm Protestant.

You are wrong, wrong, wrong. There are no religious requirements for the Prime Minister - the PM can be C of E, RC, Hindu, Muslim, Jewish ( as was Benjamin Disraeli) atheist, sun-worshipper, anything.
Blair probably wants to keep his religious life separate from his political life, so it seems reasonable to convert once he has left office.
There are so many sound political reasons to attack Blair, so don't make yourself look stupid by dragging up something so trivial as this to attack him.

It means that even with all the information he has had access to by vitue of having been President of the most powerful nation on Earth, he still does not know the most basic issue about how to distinguish between a lie and the truth. His behaviour is proof that deception is real and it is exchangeable with Tony Blair. Now that said, what does it make of President Mugabe who has been Tony Blair's most sever critic here on earth? This is a question of the millenium

It brings tears of gladness and trepidation to my eyes. i'm of path happy for absolutely everyone to come back closer to God in any way, yet in this manner, so formalized and acceptable, you possibly can very practically see the planetary alignments transforming into to be diametrically antagonistic, and subsequently, momentous events are interior the offing. could the Queen and her kinfolk become switched over, now it fairly is extremely ticklish to the recommendations. i ask your self what they're thinking? according to hazard they have time-commemorated approximately it for a protracted time. i'm hoping that each and every person will bypass nicely with them, and no radical Masonic team takes it of their recommendations to do him or his kinfolk harm.

Blair has been a Catholic for years. He has obviously tried to keep a fairly low profile about his beliefs since in the UK we try to keep politics and religion as seperate as possible.
I'm sure now he is leaving office, "The Vicar" will be free to talk about his religion as much as he wants without losing votes.

I think it says more about the UK's view on religion on politics than anything. Tony Blair's religious beliefs and practices should be no one's business but his own. That's why there needs to be a separation of church and state in every forward-thinking government.
They need to dump those monarchy freeloaders, too.
