The feeling of safety has now disappeared from the world. In Australia we now have ads on TV asking the public to report any sightings of suspicious behaviour to the police. We now have very strong security at airports which means you need to allow much more time to arrive at the airport before catching a plane. Getting a drivers lisense, opening a bank account etc requires much more proof of identity and it takes so much longer just to go to the bank because of all the security measures. Basically the 9/11 attacks and subsequent terrorist activity has many governments and people of the world feeling uncomfortable and edgy. And in Australia, where we were once isolated from much of the conflict of the world, we now feel very much a part of it. 9/11, the bombings of the nightclubs in Bali, the attacks by terrorists in Britain and France have brought home to us how easy it is for anyone to be a victim of a terrorist attack,

Not very much at all, at bottom, and I've made a point in my own life not to be the least bit changed by it. After all, even though it was a tragic event, it WAS only just that. An event. Whenever I think of the number who died in it, over which there's been hoopla ever since, I put that in this prospective: Every single month, an equal number of Americans get killed in auto accidents. Equally tragic, affecting the same number of familes just as badly. About whom we hear nothing.
9/11 -- a tragic event that sold a LOT of papers!
Finally, we need to be DARNED sure that no more infringements on our personal liberties come about, beyond the reasonably-heightened security at airports. And we need to demand Congress to SCRAP the mis-named and perfidious "Patriot Act," much of which is unconstitutional, and should have been challenged in the U.S. Supreme Court long before this.

911 helped substitute lots of the procedures we whilst approximately issues interior the Unites States of united statesa. yet i've got not got faith it had an entire effect on the completed international at super because it effected us. We have been caught snoozing and have been rudely awaken. 911's awakening helped us to work out have been replaced into slacking, which replaced into in alot of areas being that we were warned of a damaging cope with against us, yet we brushed aside it no longer taking this remember heavily. After 911 we tighten up (have been given back on shield) yet as time is going on i think of we would be getting back to our convenience zones. specific, that is authentic Amercia heavily isn't the comparable after 911.

The world hasn't changed. The planet is still round, it still swims in it's orbit.
PEOPLE have changed - in order to keep their wealth they've allowed fear to rule their lives.
No excuses, it's a plain and simple fact.

The fears have escalated. This has made it possible for the wars and insurrections to take hold.
