Antitheists tend to use reductio ad pessimum (elimination of all but the worst)examples when condemning the "evil of religion" but become quite inflammed when some theists do the same to atheists. Antitheists are rightly annoyed when some theists generalize wrongly by lumping all atheists together with Stalin,Pol Pot,Lenin and Mao,but antitheists constantly make the same wrong generalizations about believers. What do you think? Sweeping generalizations that isolate some facts and ignore the rest are usually falsehoods."Texts out of context are pretexts"

1.Why are Jehovah’s Witnesses not allowed to salute the flag of any nation, recite the pledge of allegiance, stand for or sing the national anthem, run for public office, vote, or serve in the armed forces?

2. I read this: "If a member is guilty of breaking a minor rule such as associating with a worldly person (one who is not a Jehovah's Witness) that individual could be marked."

What does this mean? That they're not allowed to befriend any non-JW people? Or is this for when they die?

I dont want it to be to obivous that im trying to make him believe but i want him to. he thinks its just a big joke but he wouldnt know. he never goes to church and never prays. i dont want him to go to hell! what do i do?

have a rally? .....Where Muslims across the world could get together and condemn TERRORISM?....I know there will always be people who will say we don't condemn it but maybe....at least once....we could organize...a worldwide rally against terrorism?....we can set up a website....spread the word....

What do you think?

Atheists do not believe in God. That is a fact. But do they have fears? That may be a fact too. People who have dirty consciousness would rather not to believe in God. In that way they do not have anything to fear. Anything to be scared of.

I just see this as a fact: we are here for some reason. And whatever bad things we do, we may have to pay for it. But atheism is maybe a way to try to avoid that.

I am not here to judge, but how is that of believing we came from nothing?
I don't like to judge, but did you think sometime back years ago there was nothing and then something?

I don't like to judge, but is it easier to believe that the universe was there and was created by nobody?

I don't like to judge, but does evolution theory really make sense?

Would you explain me who do you think create the universe? The stars and all in it? Did it create itself? You don't have to say what created it, just what do you think created the whole universe?

I'm thinking of gathering writing utensils and sending it to a certain school in Africa. I can also do the same thing with clothing. If neither of these work, I could also gather money and create a well in a city with minimal water access ... can anyone help me with getting started? what should I do first?

I think hate, greed, the desire to control our fellow man, and lust are characteristics that ALL humans have. You can suppress it, but it is there. Some people just let them out more than others but we all have them.


Hindus, Christians, Jews, Muslims, Atheists, Catholics,etc all of us have the same faults.

I don't think anything would change ( with our behavior = how we treat each other ) if there was no religion.. what do you think?

I am just sitting watching a question asking Christians if they respect others
the Christians were saying yes and I believe most of them were answering honestly
and some non Christians are saying they don't
I have seen questions to Atheists about morals etc , the Atheists reply that they have good morals
while some non Atheists are answering for them and saying they don't
and Muslims saying they are peaceful while some non Muslims saying they are terrorists
this one also applies to homosexuals , when asked if it is a choice ... they will say no
and some hetrosexuals will tell you that they do choose it

why is it that some people don't listen to the people in question ?
I am sure they know themself better than others know them
just a pattern that I have noticed .... have you noticed also ?

it is time to start listening to those in question , don't you agree ?
maybe if we started listening , we could end a lot of this hate

Other than the oppresive tactics of the religious zealots, the atheists have taken their place in the stream of those intolerant of freedom of thought,
has this always been the agenda, or did it just happen that, as soon as atheist numbers began to grow, the average intelligence seriously went down?
