You say that religious minded people cannot prove that God exists. Can you prove to me that you exist? Even if I could physically touch you, my nerve endings could be sending me false signals. This could all be in my head. I could be the only matter in the universe, and you could do nothing to disprove it. Can you prove yourself to me?

I'm not too good at reading the bible. But I want to get to heaven. So I found that bible-thumpers are easy to have sex with. the married ones are the easiest. They are so repressed that a little coaxing releases all that pent-up lust and they are absolutely wild in bed, outside, in bathroom stalls, anywhere they think they are hidden and can get off.

The downside is they have a lot of guilt afterwards, but if you give it to them again, they shut up.

My question is that I've been doing them for years, including several of their ministers (No, I did not do Ted Haggard). How many more fundagelicals do I have to do before I can be assured of a place in Heaven?

Reason I ask is because many seem to think, rather blindly believe, everything in Bible is God inspired, such as slaughter of children & destruction of people, which would make God bi-polar & fearful to approach lest he's having a "law worketh wrath" day. To me "the God of all comfort" is no dis-comfort at all & "the God of all grace" is no law at all, in the same manner "that God is light" is no darkness at all; And "the only true God" suggests a false God to compare in such things are "allegory" & "mystery" to solve, not literal nor historical.

3:17 speaks of the "man" of God, "perfect": "all good works"; Not child, imperfect: good & bad works. God said: Let us make "man". Paul said: when I became a "man", I put away childish things(plural).

2Tim 3:16,17
All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

At church I got so tired of hearing that we are all sinners that I sort of stopped going with my mom. I like the person I am and It really bothers me hearing that I have sinned and must ask for God's forgiveness. I don't want forgiveness. I'm not ashamed of who I am. I'm not perfect, far from it, but then no one is. Our differences are what make us who we are.

Many Christians now consider it a reclaimed word, as some Christians, especially Christian youth, occasionally use it as a positive term to let others know that they are not ashamed of their beliefs.

Yahoo Answers removed one of my answers because I used this term..... How unfair is that... I am a Jesus Freak. it is nothing to be ashamed of.

It seems that I always see Christians spreading hate wherever they go instead of spreading love, like Jesus told us to do. Brothers and sisters, why? Just today I saw a Christian make call someone Satan. I see them making fun of George Bush, terrorists, abortionists, and everyone who doesn't believe like them. Have we just forgotten that Jesus said that the second greatest commandment was to love our neighbor as ourself? I mourn the state of the Church today.....

As a presbyterian I might wonder, If a group had a translation they insisted was the best clearest ever, but wouldn't say who translated it, would or should someone be suspicious. If an unqualified but sincere person tries to translate the scriptures how to they guard against 'translating' to their point of view.

for example, The New World Translation is anonymously transalted and word on the street is that it was done mostly by a past leader who had a couple semesters of Greek and self taught in Hebrew Should one trust it... would it be a case of trusting the organization... and transfering that trust to a particular viewpoint translation... or is it good scholarship? and why would you consider it good scholorship

BRUSSELS, Belgium - Forced from their Baghdad home by sectarian violence, an Iraqi Christian couple in their 70s have spent the past two years bounced between detention centers in Greece and Belgium, terrified of being forced back to
Iraq.

Their odyssey underscores the plight of thousands of Iraqi Christians denied refuge in Europe while
European Union nations argue over who is responsible to help them.

Many are caught in a legal limbo. With the notable exception of Sweden, Western governments — wary of letting in a seemingly never-ending stream of refugees from various countries — are not prepared to accept large numbers of Iraqis. But the Christians say returning to Iraq is tantamount to a death sentence.

"People are being ping-ponged around Europe all the time, and more and more are being detained," said Judith Kumin, the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees' regional representative in Brussels.

The fate of people like the Iraqi couple, given the pseudonyms Abel and Leah by the
