Pascal's Wager is flawed on so many levels it is comical at this point. However if that was someones rationale for "believing: well I would imagine an omniscient Deity would be one step ahead.

Btw....what Adam & Eve did when they ate the forbidden fruit was no surprise to God. His question to them afterwards was a rhetorical one; He wanted them to confess their sin, just as He wants us to confess ours.
