I love the fact that regular people are documenting and writing history, and that others can question the nuetrality and the source. I find this an honest approach to history. Much more so than when I was a kid and our history books sugar coated the truth. Well, lied, many of them lied.

The Holy Spirit/ Comforter (aka Holy Ghost) that Jesus spoke about is clearly a SPIRIT. Why?

Firstly, this spirit abides FOREVER. Now, is Muhammad dead or alive?

John 14:16
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

Secondly, this Holy Spirit reminds the followers of Christ’s teachings. Which includes “I am the way, the truth and the life, no one goes to the Father, but through me”

John 14:26
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Finally, anyone who receives the spirit speaks in tongues!

Acts 2:4
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 2:33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

Suppose you are placed in the following hypothetical situation: You are kidnapped by some evil mastermind named Mr. Z. Mr. Z injects you with a poison that kills you in 1 hour. Nothing can stop you from dying.

Mr.Z introduces you to Vanessa. Vanessa trusts you and would follow any advice you give him. Mr.Z explains that you are to tell Vanessa not to follow your religion. It doesn't matter what options are open to Vanessa; you are to tell him that your religion is false and that Vanessa must never pursue that faith.

If you do that, Mr. Z frees Vanessa to continue life as usual, except that he is convinced your religion is false and will never convert to your religion. If you allow Vanessa one shred of belief in your religion, then Mr. Z tortures Vanessa for 45 minutes before killing him in front of your eyes. I know it's crazy rhetoric, but try to treat this as serious. Would you dissuade Vanessa from following your religion?

I'm looking to get a tattoo of the word "rich". but i want it in like a hebrew language or something like that. Something where you wouldn't be able to tell what it said, but yet look cool like in a different language or symbols. Any suggestions?

I was shopping with my girl yesterday, I was pushing the cart. She couldn't find something, she asked a member of staff and she told we should check out aisle 16. She said thank you. Since I was with her, should I also say thank you. But it kinda feels weird not to say anything and keep walking like a zombie. But on the other hand its kinda redundant thanking her again. What do you think should be done here.

Like they say, "people who gather honey don't kick beehives". If you want to serve your master and win people to him you should make us feel that we will belong to a decent lot. Some of Christians' answers to my polite and genuine questions have taken me a number of steps farther away from that religion. However, thanks to those who gave honest and rationale answers. You did your religion proud, I am not a Christian but have high respect for you! I'll keep on probing that religion and it's up to its followers to defend their faith. I will never bellitle it but on the same breath, I don't believe in it.

I signed up for his fan club long ago and watched him everyday. He started mentioning my name on air and laughing hauntingly.

I received my decoder ring and it was different than all my friends. The encoded message of the week read differently than the other kids. Mine kept telling me to go to a certain park.

My Bozo stuffed clown had a tape recorder in it.

Once in a while I could hear the fant sound of a nose horn going off in the bushes outside my house at night.

I still get some strange suggestive letters from a nursing home patient today that is simply signed "B".
