Obviously God wanted to do something and could not. In addition, since Jesus took away the sins of the world, then why do Christians still talk about original sin? Obviously Jesus did a terrible job at taking away the sins, and how can people still sin since Jesus took away the sins? That is like Bob taking away all the beer, but everyone else still having beer.

It is written that God has exalted His Name above all Names, and that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow and tongue confess "Yeshua Messiah Yahweh / Adonai.".

(Yahweh (Jehovah) is the name above all names.)

People from one group have said another is not following the religion properly so therefore they can not be religious.

A person raised Catholic is told by a Orthodox Jewish cousin that he or she is not religious enough to be Jewish. Yet, they are both Jewish by grandma's, and mother's blood. Is this just a case of prejudice? Or does the Orthodox person have a point.

If there is only one God, is believing a different way believing in a different God?

This has been going through my head lately.

When at the same time they believe the earth has been around for 65 billion years? What makes it last 5 billion more years as opposed to the "65 billion" it has already done? Why cant it last another 65 billion? This thinking doesnt seem very logical, and this is coming from people how claim to be "more" logical.

When Christians are babtised, they recieve the Holy Spirit. When Satanists "or lets say persons worshiping Gods / Idolitry" are babtised, or lets say recieve the the spirit of this entity or Devil. Does this mean lowering the capstone or all seeing eye on the pirimid. Spiritualy meaning the Devil spirit possesing humanity, placeing in bondage.

...or for that matter how they treat anyone who is in the service industry? ie. waitstaff, clerks, housekeeping, etc.?
What makes someone think that because someone has that job which this person deems as being subserviant to them, they are given the opportunity, and therefore the right to act like a complet a**hole?
Do you just hate people like that, and don't you feel sorry for the poor losers who are stuck with them?

The Bible is thousands of pages long and covers every aspect of human existence, but the only passages you seem to be able to see in it are the few prohibitions against homosexuality. What's the deal with you people, anyway? If it bothers you so much, why do you dwell on it? Why do you go out of your way to visit gay websites?

Just curious.

How do we know it hasn't been edited or mistranslated?

Evangelicals want to limit adoption to the "one man, one woman" ideal, and prevent gays and lesbians from even acting as foster parents. Where it's still legal, they throw up roadblocks to discourage it, like stopping second-parent adoption and opposing domestic partner benefits. But what about the thousands of kids currently being raised in group homes and for-profit foster homes, many of them minorities, older or problem kids, terminally ill, or seriously disabled with little or no hope of ever being adopted by an "ideal family"? And, this is just in the U.S.; millions more in Africa and elsewhere have been orphaned by the AIDS epidemic or abandoned by their birth parents as an alternative to starvation.

I'd like to hear some real alternatives to this problem from those that have knowingly and deliberately sacrificed these children's lives for the sake of "sending the right message".

I recently moved from L.A. to the midwest and cannot believe the difference in the quality of life. Sure, the sun doesn't shine everyday- but that's a good thing! Everything is easier, from raising kids (most suburban school districts are fabulous) to owning a wonderful home- all while working a normal job. But, old friends in L.A. don't believe it- they think I'm crazy for moving. What do you think?

Or at least he could've parted the 17th Street Canal. Is that too much to ask?

All those poor people lost their modest homes, many were injured and killed, many's lives were devastated; and God did not bother parting the 17th Steet Canal, or was it Lake Ponchetrain, I forget. But you get my point.

Cogent replies, if possible, requested. Thank you.

"With babies having cancer they suffer because of sin. We die because of sin. Humans sin this brings death and destruction."

You imagine babies who haven't even learned what sin is burning in hell? Its amazing that any Christian has the nerve to call an atheist immoral or evil. You people are vile.

Specifically, I'd like to know which states have the highest concentration of Tagalog speakers. It would also be interesting to know what percentage of those who speak Tagalog are also fluent in English. FYI: Tagalog is a language spoken in the Philippines and by many Filipinos in the US.

When ever a question like this is raised we get 2 kinds of answer from Muslims.

Yes Muslims do condemn acts of terror from all reminding us that other groups do their thing too.

Or we get a liturgy of atrocities committed by other faiths or groups and condemnation of them , as if the fact that others do it so why pick on us.

We never get Muslims unqualified condemnation of their own for crimes against non Muslims.
If you refuse to condemn, then you are condoning that makes all of you terrorists too.
You don't have to plant a bomb, just sitting idley by and doing nothing to prevent it is as bad as planting it.
And the tragedy is that most victims of Islamist terrorists are Muslims.
And they won't even condemn their own Murderers.
Why?
Is it something in the Koran, or is its true that to a Muslim an unbeliever is regarded as subhuman, and any Muslim, no matter how sinful, is better than the Kauffer
