Why are so many people dumbing down their vocabulary? Do they realize when typing "dis" or "dat" and speaking like that it makes them sound uneducated and ridiculous? I can't stand it. It makes me wonder what is happening to society that they feel in order to be "cool" they have to speak like they're from the gutter and have never been to school!

If you don't even believe in any of what the Bible says, why are you so angry at the people who DO beleive it? Granted some people are huge evangelists, and will tell you what they believe and try to save you, but we aren't putting a knife to your throat and telling you to love Jesus. If you don't believe it, then fine, don't believe it, but don't claim that Christianity imposes hatred and violence, when you are the ones claiming to hate us, and be angry at us, when all we are doing is trying to spread God's love.

Now I do not speak on behalf of all "Christians" becuase many people can call themselves this. I am speaking on my own behalf.

I am from the western New York area, and am trying to find out my Indian Heritage. People keep telling me there is a way with DNA testing, but every time I contact someone, they give me the run-around.
They say I have to know which tribe; but how can I if my ancestors wanted to keep it hidden
I am sick of putting white when asked my race, because I am definately NOT 100% WHITE...no one ever has something that says mixed...I would like to know everything I am...
There are many reason each person should know all of their ethnic heritage. It is hard runnig around all your life not knowing who YOU REALLY ARE...I feel like I am from another planet sometimes, and this is very depressing.

I believe that GOD allowed for evolution to occur until he decided ultimately to intervene, and place humans as the dominant species amongst their counterparts. I believe that there is a correlation between evolution and creation, but humans created the concept of Darwinian theory and Creationism, and decided to butt heads about it. What do you think? I asked a question about God earlier and the answers I got were disturbing. One woman said it says you cant get a divorce unless adultery is committed. Wrong. If you are being abused and things like that, you can. And it is not sexist. Back then, husbands took care of their wives. That is why it is always men doing things and not women. I mean hello, Eve ate the apple not Adam. Anyways, everyone should read the bible all the way through before they start trying to judge it and repeat quotes from it b/c it is obvious that alot of people are just going by hear say.

My mother ( and my 40 year old not working in ten years brother) after my mother's house burned down. I am realizing just how mean and evil she is. If I say up, she says dow. She is also deliberately hurtful. I want her out but I can't put her out. She then says that I will be punished for disrespecting my mother. Isn't respect mutual? Any advice?
