america didn't "go gay" BUT.......the perception is there because hollywood and advertising tell us this.
AND we do believe what they tell us (on the whole) whether we admit it or not.
The reasons for this are simple --- hollywood, movies, TV etc are filled with many jewish and gay decision-makers...hence, all the jewish shows and characters AND the widespread proliferation of "gays" in our culture. It seems 'hip' and/or 'trendy' to be gay (hey, that's why south park parodied the phenomenon), which is why almost EVERY SINGLE SHOW AND MOVIE has gay characters etc. And because of this proliferation, the advertisers get on the ball (no pun indended) and inundate us with stereotypical gayness in ads. (what the heck was that big-head burger king ad theme last year??)
so i guess america isn't gay, just mostly.

America has the same amount of gays as anywhere else. 10% of the population with 30% bisexual on top of that. America just likes to make issues with ever thing, smoking, anorexia, pets birthday parties, and anything else that they want to be the issue of the day, and that is why you see so much media coverage. Did you know that gay marriage is legal in more countries the it is not legal in? America just makes a fuss about it.
BTW: I am an American, I just do not see this country through rose colored glasses.

I'm an american, and straight, but here is my 2 points.
In the media it has become more accepted of late to hype up the gay lifestyle, and with lots of celebrities coming out, it ramps it up.
Gays have been around since humans have been around, it's just what modern society does to portray them that is different.

It didn't.
LGBT people exist in every nation on earth, including the US [I assume you mean the US; America = all of North, Central and South America].
Are you implying there is something wrong with LGBT people? Then you are the one we should watch out for, you hate-spewing bigot. I certainly hope you aren't so hypocritical as to call yourself a "christian."

Maybe back when Shakespeare was still living. His idea to have men dress up like women for his plays instead of just having women play the parts might have spread to America? lol.

Where did you get this little gem from? I haven't heard that Americans are all gay and I suspect that I read much more than you do.

I think that people started to become homosexuels when women stoped to breast feed their little boy or girl. I did not!
