Adam and Eve had a bunch of kids. Some boys and some little girlies two. Then they had some other friends who were there before. Like on the Brady Bunch. Then these other kids and the first ones, well some of them started dating. And then they had kids. This was just how it happened. Then Moses came along and parted the red sea and then there was Noah and Jesus and some other stuff and it all ended with the Book of Revlation. The End.

I wrote the same thing to some other guys question a couple days ago! He asked what contradictions were in the bible. I told him that cain had many wives....Where did the wives come from. I don't remember God saying, "And then there were other people as well."

There is a much debated passage in the Hebrew account that suggests that God created wives for Adam and Eve's sons from the souls of fallen angels. The male angels became jealous and came to earth to seduce Adam and Eve's daughters, begetting giants that roamed the earth for cenuries (probably leading to the Philistines and Goliath).

because you are reading a story that was written for people of many years ago were meant to understand, they could, and would have understood that we started of as two organisms in a big pond, yes God did create them, and God and evolution go together, so think of it this way if you had to explain something that we still do not understand fully today, would it not have been easier to call these two organisms Adam, and Eve, think about it, it's only a point of view, but prove me wrong, and it does put God and evolution together, which would explain a lot of things about the bible, and science

If you readthe wording of the creation of man, it does not indicate that there were only 2. He talks about 2 specific ones, or maybe they're figurative, who knows. Adam and Eve aren't mentioned til the next chapter after the creation. Maybe Adam was just the first of the Israelite nation.

Genesis 1:27
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

Cain killed Abel then ran off to another country where he found a wife. I'm sure Adam and Eve had more kids too, but they didn't have to inbreed.

Well God started the human race. Abel was murdered and Caan was cast out since he murdered his brother and God ordered that no one that he encounters should cause him harm, so that is the proof that there were plenty of other humans around at that time.

Thanks for the thumbs down... go read the Bible because that is exactly what it says.

I think the Adam and Eve story is metaphorical, although Adam and Eve, per se, might well have existed. They represent the first beings in evolution to have "eaten of the tree of knowledge", the knowledge being self-consciousness and the difference between right and wrong.

Sadly, incest. Their mother . . .then sister . . . gross but that is how we all started, that is, if you are a religious person. Eventually humans were "bred" out of that originater gene MANY generations down the line so there are different genes now and we arent all incest. Techinically we are the product of that but it was very common back then and still is accepted now in some countries

they got on a line side by side, God fired a gun and they both started running. who ever crossed the finish line first won the race.
since just Adam & Eve were in the race it was called a human race.

Any thing else that you would like to know ?
