When ever a question like this is raised we get 2 kinds of answer from Muslims.

Yes Muslims do condemn acts of terror from all reminding us that other groups do their thing too.

Or we get a liturgy of atrocities committed by other faiths or groups and condemnation of them , as if the fact that others do it so why pick on us.

We never get Muslims unqualified condemnation of their own for crimes against non Muslims.
If you refuse to condemn, then you are condoning that makes all of you terrorists too.
You don't have to plant a bomb, just sitting idley by and doing nothing to prevent it is as bad as planting it.
And the tragedy is that most victims of Islamist terrorists are Muslims.
And they won't even condemn their own Murderers.
Why?
Is it something in the Koran, or is its true that to a Muslim an unbeliever is regarded as subhuman, and any Muslim, no matter how sinful, is better than the Kauffer

To attack or condemn a member of one's own group is always easier said than actually done. Christians, historically, have never had any particular problem with any maltreatment visited upon non-Christians by other Christians. Likewise, white Americans are unusually silent about the racism that is still prevalent in their society and/or the suffering that this causes minorities. In fact, most white Americans seem determined to pretend that racism no longer exists.

You have asked a good question though your comments pushed to your own opinion. I am a Muslim, we have been asked similar question many times and you will suprise that this question runs in our minds time to time - As one of the Muslim Scholar said "We read Quran but sometimes Quran curses us because of our bad deeds" - One of the best icon of a Muslim is to do Justice to mankind - Your question reminds me one of the saying of Prophet Muhammad SAW "The Best Of My Nation (Ummah) is 1st, 2nd and 3rd Generation (Taba Tabien)" - If you talk about true personality of a Muslim - you can count few today, the rest of us including myself "we are just as dust of true Muslims" - God Knows Best

The terrorists are the Arab Muslims who blow themselves up in Israeli restaurants and who fire rockets at Israeli civilians.

The ones who fight back against the terrorists are the protectors of freedom and democracy. They act in self-defense. And occasionally cause collateral damage. But they are not aiming to kill Arab civilians. The distinction is critical.

The Arabs will not disapprove of terrorism, because they regard it as their most effective weapon in Islamizing the entire world.

I think they don't consider people who are not Muslim people. That's what i've gotten from some of the stuff written by Muslim on the net and not sugarcoated. It's more believable and feel like less of a lie than having them nodding in agreement with everybody else while they sharpen their knife.

The do.. but "no one" seems to broadcast those speeches, rallies, and marches, nor to they get much notice in the newspapers. Makes you wonder who controls the media, doesn't it? Try researching foreign language media sources for a more accurate Muslim response.

Why don't Christians condemn other Christians who attack others? Look at Northern Ireland for example, Christians attacking Christians.
Look at the homosexual position, that many Christians call them abominations, yet did your Jesus Christ not tell you to love your fellow human? Certainly Christians following those teaching like the hypocrites that they are.

They do. Maybe you just haven't been paying attention? I know I have.

But I've seen, talked with, and interacted with Muslims both stateside and overseas who publicly decry and activley work to condem and stop these attacks.

Just look around. They're not hiding.

I have a better question:

Is the "American" brand of Islam the traditional Islam, and the fundamentalist Islam being hijacked? Or is the opposite true?
