I have told people about Yahoo Answers and also warned them. I have learned a lot here and also have read some very thought provoking questions that have caused me to think seriously about how it applies to my believes. One Jewish woman almost had believing that Jesus was not the Messiah. Almost. But then I integrate the information with what I know and come away richer. But I do think that this forum can be a very threatening place for some. And this may be why some of the fundamentalist come back with such strong and sometime hateful answers.

Question, yes. But you don't really believe anything that you've never questioned.

Changed? no.

I think that there'd be more belief questioning going on if people weren't always so hateful. I do believe that there is a solid truth, and any post-modernists can e-mail me if you want me to prove you wrong, but there's no reason you can't be respectful when trying to persuade people that you have the answer.

Not my belief in Buddhism, but from time to time some questions and answers recall to mind certain behaviors I've not yet subdued and give me food for thought, thereby strengthening my own Buddhist practice.
